I just ordered a hammer. So it’s really nice to know I can use all those different bands on it and not stick with flats only. I appreciate the education!
Thanks for the tips! I just revisited this video after my first time trying the 1632 in a single strand and should've listened about the tip on not seating a single tube in the saddle..😅 luckily it wasn't a thicker tube and it was the bottom band that slapped my fingers instead of my face or dominant eye (safety glasses!!)
Saw a tip in a blog - use clay ammo for the eye-plug, they claim it holds just as good, and much lighter weight. They use a wooden dowel bowled at one end to seat the clay balls without breaking them. I haven’t tried it yet, but will eventually.
you letting everyone ansious on the slingbow ;) nice concept I have a occularis beanflip comming but with the old plugs, might need to try those if i like that attachment style
Learn to shoot using only a single latex band. People who have become advanced in this method say pouches are for sissies. This isn’t my opinion, I’m just passing info. Guess I’m a sissy, I still use pouches - I think rough side out is better for the grip, and the smooth inside allows for easier adjustment of the ammo between the pinch.
My Axiom Ocularis banded with 1745 Tubed Bands at 35" draw length is a powerhouse!
Ocularis Beanflip Yellow Jacket - Perfect slingshot for hunting and target shooting. Having hours of fun. Brilliant setup. The pigeons don't agree 😂

Marbles will also work. 😉

Can't wait to try out some tubes ttf when I get home. Good stuff Nathan. That new slingshot/slingbow looks great by the way!
Awesome video Nathan! :)
What a tease!! If you are going to show us your slingbow at least give us some news about it! I can't wait tell you guys release it. T_T
Looking good. Probably very versatile. But I'm partial to the Scout X. I spoiled myself with it and ruined my expectations for other slingshots.
The Scout X is a GREAT Frame! We are glad you found one you shoot well.
Can these be fitted with a double gold thereband bandset id love one of these
Nathan if I want to run a wider band like the 1.25' black latex with the occularis plugs then do I fold it over in the plug or just single layer?
No need to fold. The Ocularis system fits 1.25" bands comfortably
i don't see that Ocularis that you are using for the demo on your website
+James Olson It will be available very soon. Stay tuned, it is worth the wait!
I've ordered a set. When shooting ttf, do you wrap the bands around the outside of the fork, of through the inside of the forks?
+Steve Brettell Outside of the forks as shown in the video.
Hi I'm a newbie does this have a sight on to aim with please?
The Ocularis plug does not, but the Axiom ocularis slingshot - for example - has aiming dimples in the frame.

Thanks i want to purchase one
can these be used with something like linatex or gum rubber??
+illmade2 Yes
Does the website have any printable templates?
How can I find one????
What about Trumark tubes?
What's the function of the slot, if any - does it need to center on the tube or band position? Great vid.
+Ward Zimmerman This is outlined in detail in the video.
WHICH SIDE OF THE FREAKING POUCH IS SUPPOSED TO HOLD THE BALL?
The shiny side out but some shoot it with the shiny side in.

@@simpleshot And some people go both ways. 😂 😂 😂
U can't shoot theraband green pulls right through
You can, you just need to leave more length and double up the layer at the attachment. You can also use a larger diameter ball at 1/2” or 12.5 mm.
