@@giannighilardi6396 What DM are now? Still one of the biggest band in the world with 6 good to great albums released without Alan, and i can bet a finger you don't have a clue about what Alan is doing right now.
Once Karl Bartos joined Kraftwerk there music changed Karl is classically trained to play and write music and write melodies Wolfgang fluer was a professional jazz Drummer once they left Kraftwerk there sound was never the same Karl is a wonderful musician and artist .l have some his albums .l wish Karl and Wolfgang would work together and see what kind of sound they come up with love the concert wish .l there Thank you for posting. ✌😎👍
Thanks for posting. I am so glad to see Karl still performing. I just LOVE his voice, so soothing and full of rhythm, original and not trying to be someone else.
Wouldn't it be wonderful to have the surviving members of the great band known as Kraftwerk stand together to receive their much deserved Hall of Frame recognition. RIP to the great Florian Schneider.
Bartos' live versions of "TEE", "Robots" and "Computer Love" are far better than the current Kraftwerk ones. The same thing for some of his screen graphics.
this is the first time Ive heard his solo stuff and this seems like the logical progression for kraftwerk to have made, but they didn't. His remixes sound waaaaaay more fuller and more suited for the types of PA we use now, way better.
What a great find! Especially loved the Electrik Music stuff. Anyone know what two keyboards he had on that stand? The top one incredulously looks like a Roland D50. Sure most everything was triggered from a computer, but seems to be two synth, too.
'It's More Fun To Compute' is too fast in this, imo. The album version is so funky when that riff finally kicks in. Thing is, Kraftwerk themselves haven't been playing it right either, at least for the past 20 years or so.
The only time they performed a righteous version of "It's More Fun To Compute" was on the very first show from the "Computer World Tour", may 19th of 1981 at the Apollo Theater in Florence, Italy They dropped that version soon after, and made a differente, faster one. Then, even during those 3D performances they mixed it directly with "Home Computer"... such a shame ua-cam.com/video/-dXS1XdZ_bo/v-deo.html
because they weren't doing anything, everything had stagnated so he and wolfgang got tired and left, i dont blame them, playing the same shit for 30+ exactly the same makes no sense, being in kraftwerk had to have been boring as fuck
In the early years Kraftwerk was more melodic ... and of course, time changes. But this compilation of sound is for my ears too experimental ... sorry, Karl ... maybe I'm too old for this, I cannot calibrate my mind with this. But chapeau to your life for and in electronic music !
When you left the successful band over frustrations about Karl & Florian slow progress just to end up creating a mini group to play all the same songs and barely release anything new LOL Seriously, if it was just to keep playing old Kraftwerk songs Karl should've just stay in the group, i say literally the same about Wolfgang now.
It's not a rip off if he co-wrote them you dingus. That's like saying Kraftwerk can't play anything from The Man Machine and Computer World because Karl wrote most of the melodies on those albums.
This man is what Alan Wilder was to Depeche Mode, underrated talent, intelligence and charisma. Long Life Mr. Bartos.
George Harrison to the BEATLES.
FULLY AGREE!!!
Alan was much more as you can see now what DM are now without him.....KB was important in KWKmyes, but his contribution was partial compared to Alan.

Karl was the electro-beat of the group..They all contribute nicely.

Not really. The Hall of Fame is corporate bullshit. Kraftwerk were always so much more than that.
MAN I miss the Ralf, Florian, Wulfgang, & Karl.... Kraftwerk era!!
DUŻO ZDROWIA I SZCZĘŚCIA DLA KARLA BARTOSA ŻE USZCZĘŚLIWIA NAS KAPITALNĄ MODERNISTYCZNĄ I NOWOCZESNĄ MUZYKĄ. TĘSKNIĘ ZA NIĄ. 👍👍👍🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱😪 31.12.2021.

Karl Bartos is just as good as playing his own songs aswell as Kraftwerk. Has he got his own cd out.
amazing karl bartos thanks for posting this video !
Superb performance
Thanks for posting. It was an unforgettable night!
More raw, more authentic and more alive than Kraftwerk in concert. Rearrangements and adaptations are good too.
Irreplaceable Karl!!! Thanks for posting.

KARL BARTOS PONADCZASOWY !!!! SYMPATYCZNY !!!! GENIALNY !!!!!!
Kraftwerk for show. Bartos for a pro.
Some of the imagery here is better than the current Kraftwerk projections IMHO.
Congratulation!!!!Very Good!!!!

NEON LIGHT brzmi FANTASTYCZNIE. Wielka Szkoda że to tylko fragmenty..
Karl Bartos śpiewa bardzo bardzo melodyjnie. Tak po ludzku.
GENIUS
Computer Love sounds much better in this version than The Catalogue's one.
1/4 KRAFTWERK.
Sensacional
superb
this is fire
Ohhh, at last a little of good old keyboards on stage... Not the beautiful set from 1981 when Karl was still in THE band, but anyway..😁

The video backdrop makes me think of blue man group
Great
Super! How come the originators had to go separated ways? Hardly acceptable(ToT)

Karol Bartos jest Kwintesencją KRAFTWERKU. Gdyby nie On o Kraftwerku już dawno by zapomniano .Ralf Huetter po rękach powinien całować Karola Bartosa.

I posted a 2003 performance
Master
What is the track after The Robots?
Excellent arrangements and timbres, better than Kraftwerk!
Esse deu sorte no solo... 🎉👍
Karl is a Kling Klang produkt.
COMPUTER WORLD is better than Ralf's version.
This is Kraftwerk rip off , even he co-write some of the songs.
Then is not a rip off.
