For a simpler video on how to just undo them, see this • How to undo VW wiring ...

just fixed glow plug relay power pin that was corroded, making cold start impossible on a chevy cruze, thanks to your hairpin idea. Huge thanks for your video!

Yeah this saved me lol. Was able to take apart a donor connector and fix my broken one. Saved me $15 or so

Thank you for uploading this video. I had an issue with my Pressure Sensor from my Audi and I have found a loose connection. this saved me a bunch. thank you

Thanks for this. The tip about a hairclip to release the connector was really useful. Even my smallest tweezers were not thin enough to do it.

Thanks man, you're savior. The housing of my Coolant Temp Sensor on my Audi just disintegrated due to brittleness from extreme heat over the years. I'll be working on it as soon as the part arrives.

Jaaaa!!! UA-cam is a life saver. Thanks so much dude. That's EXACTLY what i needed help with!! My brake pad wear indicator got ripped out when my caliper fell while i was changing my upper strut mount. it was a dumb mistake because i knew i should have secured my caliper before doing any work in case it fell and sure enough, it fell. Your the best. Life saver!

Great and really helpful video. Hairpin was free as I just cleaned up my daughter's room and found one. My real job was to extract the rear speaker wires out of my Passat car stereo plug as I got intermittent shorts to the speaker lines (due to bad connectors somewhere else). Apparently VW RCD300 models did not have any short protection as two units got destroyed with caps smoking, thankfully the RCD310 had better design.
