i am in love with the Owl-Pinky and the owl journal. The shirt is just perfect for this box. The coloring book is a WOW item! I like the handbag and owl key chain. She will remember this box always. i bet she will have the owl necklace when she is old. Thanks for sharing.

So many cute owl items. I remember when I was in my 20s I use to collect owls. That was during the time of "Home Interior" Do you remember that Trish? They had lots of owls !! Great box !
Thanks, Judy. I’m not familiar with Home Interior, but I’m sure I would’ve liked it. I’m a bit of a HGTV nut. I think owls are the coolest birds. When I lived in Florida there used to be an owl that hung out in my backyard on occasion. I saw him 3 or 4 times 😮.

Walmart has the cutest tote bags at amazing prices. I honestly don't know what people put in drawstring backpacks.
Yes, Walmart often has some cute tote bags. I’ve gotten quite a few there, usually unmarked clearance, for $1. If I can’t pack a regular backpack, I like to include something in the box the child can, at the very least, tote their shoebox items home in, whether it be a tote bag or a drawstring backpack. TFW 🥰

Oh wow, this is an amazing shoebox! Love the title. And immediately fell in love with the first two items you pulled out the shoebox- the TY beanie baby and the shirt. I love how the owls in the coloring book cover and the printed coloring sheets mimic the detailed owl on the shirt. Of course, the Shein owl charm with the wisdom blurb is perfect. Nice addition of the bead kit. Also, this girl will love the purse and the tote bag. Your presentation of the earrings on the glittery heart is so pretty. And the owl erasers and the owl sharper are great mini owl models. A very thoughtful and beautiful shoebox, Trish! Thanks for sharing! 🦉
Thank you, Sharon. I really love how this one came together. It was ready to go early in the year, except for a shirt. I had a couple of others in mind, but they just weren’t quite right. Then I found this one at Children’s Place. It was perfect! I was actually in the store the day it came in, so it was meant to be. The necklace was a last-minute addition and I love the wisdom blurb, too. TFW and for your continued encouragement 🥰

Hoot Hoot Hooray! Love all of the owl items you found! I think I packed that same journal in mine last year. It’s sooo pretty. We really need some more good Walgreens deals. And the bead kits we got! My favorite item in her box is her shirt. It’s so pretty and it matches the beautiful coloring book. Her bracelets and necklace are so sweet. Haha, thanks, Denise. It took a while to collect for this one. I think I started it right after I found the journal. Yes, I am so bummed we are not seeing the Walgreens holiday clearances that we used to. Between them and Walmart, i’m not sure what I’m going to do for shoeboxes going forward 😕
