This was fascinating, to see a man's perspective on making a shoebox! 🙂 Those will be some joyful young men who receive them. I'm glad we got to meet Christy's husband!
Thank you for making this video. I always make the boxes for girls, but this year I packed a box for a younger boy. Next year I will definitely challenge myself to do 10-14 boys. I just had no idea what to pack, but now I do thanks to this very helpful video! Harbor Freight, here I come!
That's a great box! My 12 year old has a doubled stacked rolling tool box. He loves building and working on things. He has lots of tools. He saves money and buys things to go in it along with others gifting him with tools. I think a 10 to 14 year old boy will love it. But if you can possibly squeeze in a notebook so he has paper because that is an essential item he may need. Other than that it is an amazing gift for the young boys that will recieve them.
Thanks for showing us your box! My boys were wondering if we would get to see your Batman boxes this year. 😊 We are doing toddler boxes as a church this year, but next year is the older kid boxes and we are definitely going to be putting action figures in those boxes.
Thank you for watching and packing shoeboxes! Each year is an adventure as the Lord provides and gives us new ideas for his children to receive in their shoeboxes.❤
Great question. The minimal amount of liquid in the tiny, plastic leveling tubes is really insignificant as it is encased in some pretty thick plastic and is not likely to spill or break on accident. You would have to be very intentional to break those tubes.
Great Box. I also pack for the 10 - 14 boys and I'm always looking for new ideas. I think I have time to run to Harbor Freight to add a few more things. Thank you for you suggestions.
I love the idea of a compass! It’s another one of those tool/toys. It’s a practical and useful tool that is just fun to use. Thanks for the recommendation.

This is awesome. Do more boy box videos!

Thank you, Susan!

You’re welcome. I hope you can put the ideas to good use.

Maybe a flashlight and some type of building kit?
This looks like a fantastic box - good job with it! The dog to go with Batman is super cool!
Great box! I put a couple of tools in a boys 10-14, but next time, will add more. I love that you put alot if fun things in there too😊
Awesome! I agree about including fun stuff in every shoebox!
Thank you. Tools and fun are a great combination.

Thanks for the great video! Do you have a link to the shopping bag you bought on Amazon?
I don’t have it, but you can likely get it from our Facebook group. It’s called :
Blessings in a Shoebox Facebook group.
Great box. I send some of the same tools. Do you ever send any screws and nails with the tools?
I’m not sure, but it’s definitely something to consider. 😊
I haven’t sent any nails or screws previously, but i am certainly not opposed to the idea. Thanks for the suggestion.
Quick question about the level. We have never included them because of the small amount of liquid. Are levels allowed?

Yes it’s allowed.

Sounds great!
You’re welcome. If you’re packing for a 10 - 14 boy you can’t go wrong at Harbor Freight.
Would be safe to include a compass and orienteering booklet?
Sure!
