SMU Ivory Keys is proud to present "A New Start" to our UA-cam audience; our first live annual production since COVID-19! 🌱 Signifying fresh beginnings, emerging from a pandemic-induced slumber, we proclaim that we are here and will be heard once again! We hope you (belatedly) enjoy the night of piano music we shared, spanning classical, pop, and more.
Berceuse, also known as "lullaby", was composed by the English composer Frank Bridge in 1901, and was one of his most well-known works. This piece was originally written for solo piano, but it has since been arranged for various instruments and ensembles. Overall, the piece evokes a sense of peacefulness and tranquility through its flowing melodies and tender harmonies, fully capturing the essence of a lullaby.
