The thought that Dave can be in sync with both Taylor and Pat (and probably everyone else) is what sets this band apart. Plus the songwriting, the vocals, the musicanship....
You can see how much Pat loves these songs and how much he missed being in the foos.

After hearing about Taylors death yestarday I came back to this song. This band has changed my life and Taylor was a massive inspiration to us all, not only as a musician but as a person and a performer, as integral a part of the band as dave is. We will carry your legacy taylor, you have shown us all truly how to live and brought so much light to each of our lives. RIP a true legend, your memory will live on.

My favorite thing about Dave and Foo Fighters is humility. When I say them on the acoustic tour they opened for Bob Dylan. Foo Fighters didn’t need to be an opening band but the humble level of respect for a foundational artist is rare and welcomed. Plus they were scheduled for 7 and started at 7 on the dot. My buddy wanted to hang at the bar down the tracks from the venue where we parked. He was a huge Dylan fan. But I told him I was in it to hear Dave and the boys play an acoustic show and didn’t want to miss it. Thanks for the good times (and for proving me right).
Absolutely love this! So glad Dave Grohl formed this band. We have had many hits from the Foo Fighters. Can't wait til the next album!!!

Very first instrument I learned to play at three years old was an accordion, I had a real,child sized, one. It makes me laugh now thinking about it, I learned piano from age five (why my parents thought an accordion was a good first instrument I've no idea though lol). RIP Taylor
