I kind of want a history video on Proto Merlin or Arcueid, just to see what insanity I'm missing by knowing mostly just the Fate stuff from Type Moon (if there's no need for a cock wizard, then what's Merlin even DOING there?!). Also for the "Fino off his meds summarizing an entire visual novel in 60 seconds or less" energy.

Glad I'm not the only one who disliked Bunyan in this event. She reminds me of an old manager I used to have at Walmart. Lots of lip service and no hesitation to throw you under a bus.
Most people seemed to hate her. The highlight of this event was Mary calling Bunyan a fraud. Bad leadership is trash.

Yeah that’s why she’s unpopular on JP too. She reminded them way too strongly of Japan’s toxic work culture and how common it is for your boss to exploit you, so understandably, Bunyan lost lots of favor in general after this event
She's in a similar boat as Assassin Kama for me. I rolled for Sakura face then found out she's technically a villain (redeemed by her summer tsun tsun).
Bunyan I rolled for her animation then saw how horrible a boss she was. Her animation and general goodness is still what redeems her but man, what a horrible boss...

Learning with Manga Assassin and Rider can't be implemented due to copyright but they managed to be put them in the game due to a loophole and not telling their True Name.
That's the popular story, but I very much doubt it's true, at least not for Assassin. J. Edgar Hoover doesn't have any estate that I know of. So there wouldn't be anyone to push any kind of claim on his likeness.

The biggest crime having Riyo being the one to design Pecos Bill and she made him a Archer instead of the famous Rider who rode a tornado that carved out the Grand Canyon, or an untamable Horse who ate dynamite and was the most notorious serial killer for killing any man who tried to ride it, he also rode mountain lions. Oh well hope his stats doesn’t suck if he’s ever added.
He did shoot the stars off the sky until the lone star of Texas remained, so I could see them being an archer with advantage against star attribute.
@@Darrimus I think they’re more likely to add an anti-female NP based on him shooting his wife who couldn’t stop bouncing after WidowMaker threw her off and would’ve starved if not killed and shot down.

Also she's literally not just an older Bunyan, her spirit origin was merged with Mike Fink which explains so much about her behavior. So many people got mad and skipped the story that they probably missed that key detail so it doesn't get talked about enough. :v

@@Devil935 Riyo Gudako's influence undoubtedly enabled such a merger to occur in the first place, but Mike played a huge part in altering Bunyan's character while merged with her; she's not just selfish but obsessed with her own image as well, just as Mike Fink was an absurdly braggadocios man with a giant ego who's claim to fame was being able to back most of it up while being an absolute menace up and down the Mississippi river. He was such a large influence on her that merely separating from Bunyan made her look closer to her younger Berserker self and regain a speedy NP animation too. The story definitely could have conveyed it better throughout, or at least extend his part in the finale a bit more since he amounted to a surprise joke boss with only a few scenes despite impacting Bunyan in such a direct manner.

I'm rolling for at least NP1 Kriemhild (and hoping not too get 10 Rolands) and then waiting till summer.
Considering I finally got Castoria, this should hopefully be what I do, though the temptations of getting at least 1 Xu-Fu on Anniversary are tempting, I'd love to get Summer Ibuki though for new Omni-Farming, P.Merlin and S.Skadi too but I'll settle for just getting 1 if I can, lol.

I didn't HATE Super Bunyan, and i wouldn't complain if i someday got her in a GSSR banner...but i'm not crazy about her either.
I could see there was more to her character than her corporate side, what with attempting to find meaning in her life through filmmaking. But i still ended up gravitating around the Daikokuten and Mary Anning a lot more.
Does anyone else know why J. Edgar Hoover and Georges Méliès are summoned in tandem with S.B.?
Well, there was a panel in the manga where the two sneak off their Spirit Origin into Bunyan's pocket because they wanted to be in the game, which is also partly the reason why Super Bunyan is an Alter Ego.

Super Bunyan is one of my most wanted Servant this Year because I really have a soft spot for gag characters so I luckily got her and Daikokuten with Tickets so the rest of the Save Quartz went to Castoria's Banner where I manage to NP3 my Baobahn Sith, got Barghest, and finally Castoria after recovering from my Salt rage from Anniversary 2 years ago.
Nice. Wish Daikokuten came as well, but man...the gacha taketh.
I just wanted Bunyan coz i like the character a lot, got the 1* to max skills and lvl 100 and im planing to do the same thing with the 5* (got her from a single solo roll lol)
I like Super Bunyan but I know she is not the most popular but in a weird way from what I learned from whales that NP5 Super Bunyan is really popular for the Single Target Farming because her 3rd Ascension NP animation is short just like with Kintoki.
I got scamazed by super bunyan and god scheherazade instead, oof. Well atleast I got my castoria and the rats.
Trying to get Daikokoten I pulled 2 of her so I do hope she’ll play useful.
In an ideal world where Bunyan has a slightly better DPS kit, I can see her being pretty cool as an option for boss fights with AoE hits. I found her pretty usable against Aphrodite in LB5, and the penultimate battle of LB7 *is* a Foreigner with spread hits. They should give her some kind of buff that gives her crit damage scaling with likes, or something similar.
She'd be a hell of a lot better with an S2 upgrade, maybe give her invo stacks along the way, amplify the OC effect to x times 3 turns and/or give her a 50% battery instead of 30%.
That or an NP upgrade but despite how easy of a fix that would be to her gameplay it wouldn't fix the core issues she has.
I did a random 10 pull since I redownloaded the game and used up all my luck for 5 months on getting a random Super Bunyan. So this guide is appreciated
I got her to np 2 against my will (I wanted the mice) I didn’t know that the mice would have other banners
Pulled a copy with a daily disappoint. If nothing else I guess that's another servant I can make ascend before anniversary
for AlterEgo ST Buster slot I have MechaEli, Alteregos tend to be somewhat difficult to love due to their disadvantages.
I rolled for Bunyan purely for the animation spoiler from JP vids. Was trying more for the mice but they failed to come home...
She really needs a buff on that 2nd skill adding some sort of survivability if she is meant to be a solo or a taunt if she is meant to be in a team so she can get as many likes as possible but also ofc making the oc boost 1 time for 3 turns
As a certified Riyofriend, I of course have my Super Bunyan maxed as much as I could afford. (That sixth copy never did show up.) But would I recommend anyone else even try for her? No. She's a good bonus if you roll for Daikokuten at least. Definitely usable, but nothing special without going in really hard like I did.
I just wanted the 5* currency CE because it had the Smols on it. Bunyan showed up twice to hit NP3 on the way >.>
I ended up getting her to NP2 while rolling for the mice….. but still no mice.😢
I pulled Super Bunyan because she's the only Canadian Gacha servant that exists. I believe she will become better one day. I also believe we will ever get a Canadian servant who isn't just North American one day please.

tbh ever since I got skadi most of the new ssr I've pulled after her have been gathering dust. Even castoria. I'm semi retired I guess and gacha has burned me out.
Underpowered though she may be, I still love her. Got her to NP5, full gold fous and level 100.

I have trouble with this lesson.
I had such a weird gacha this event... I wanted to get me some lovely mice , but instead I got Super Bun on one banner and a second Castoria on the other banner... Like I know they mean well, but come on! I wanted the mice, not their luck, damn it! xD
Feel like Constantine is far from the worst. Though I haven't used him extensively yet since I don't have him. The bastard wouldn't take me quartz :(
I wish i could trade her for something i actually want. Get spooked by her during gssr because she in same banner with the one i want(oberon)
The only selling point to me is Méliès and Hoover being there. That's the only reason I rolled. I rarely use her, I just wanted the Rider copium.
Having a 1-star worth kit on a limited 5-stars is criminal. But, because she is for all intent a joke character, I doubt they will ever buff her. Maybe her NP for extra damage, like OG Bunyan. Shame. The best buff in my opinion? Releasing Melies and Hoover separately.

@normaldude24 took too many Quartz to get just one copy, and there are 2 story locked 4☆s that are getting banners at the end of this month and the next. With Anniversary and Summer coming afterwards, I have to hard stop rolling and save up.

I didn’t think she was as bad as people made her out to be in the story. But coming from a fun event like Water Monsters Crisis…yeah it was not great. At least the event had nice music and Daikokuten and Mary Anning were fun.
Kind of glad I skipped out on this event.
Honestly think Super Bunyan might be in my top 5 least favorite servants. Forget the kit and how her event was just annoying in terms of story, having her suck up two Riyo servants & essentially locking them to NPC jail. Also don’t like that she jump scared me in my rolls and was worried that I wouldn’t get Daikokuten.
I maxed my super Bunyan but like boss my Kintoki is also 120. Biased, based.
I though about going harder on the banner, but after reading the story I didnt like Super Bunyan as much as I liked OG Bunyan in the first event, if anything I liked Mary Anning way more. This is why you should never meet your heroes.
I think that's the point in a weird roundabout way because at the end of the event story, Super Bunyan's role is supposed to be the villain as that explains her actions throughout the event, but it was messed up with the Ritsuka's interruption where she wanted to die for her sins. But the way the story is written is that it causes to be repetitive and not that well written.

Charlemagne? That's a weird choice. It really depends. Personally, I have no use for Constantine. I tried using him in that Demeter fight as a semi support and even with his np, Demeter does damage to others if she has her attack buff. I just did that fight several times in 4 accounts. In that Constantine account, i just replaced him with Jeanne and she did the job better than him. It's not that he is bad. I just can't think of any fight where i would have to use him. Wherever I wish to use him, there is some other unit that can do the job better. He is someone that benefits new accounts, since he has a lot of tools in his arsenal

@@owo4288I disagree, full buff removal before damage is pretty busted, and Summer Abby is a decent semi support. I'd say that dubious honour probably goes to Iskandar or Artemis instead, since they're not just relatively weak, they're often completely outclassed by lower rarity Servants.
