I swear they wanted an excuse to take out gold from caches cause this system contradicts their anti hoarding stance.

Thanks Spyro, this is the best guide I’ve seen on the topic. I agree it promotes hoarding so it’ll hardly stay like this, but for now I think it is the way to go.
That seems silly though. What is the downside to people hoarding. You purposefully make it hard to get cards and almost impossible to target them. At least let us chose one of the five new cards a month to play with before it gets nerfed
@@jacobvest3750 Oh I agree, but SD have stated they don't want people to hoard. That's why no more variant rushes. So if players hoard with this system, they will probably change it.
Not sure if anyone else has seen this but this week I opened 4 caches, darkhawk variant, S4/S5 which ended up being a variant, Legion and ....not High Evo. That's right, on my 4th cache, instead of getting High Evo, I got a Legion variant. The game was showing that my next cache would be High Evo, but I got a variant. Opened a ticket and was politely told by customer support "thanks for bringing this to our attention, it may be a bug, but we're not doing anything to fix your particular problem." Great new system they have....
you probably got your legion from the random S4/5 section and you got the variant from the original place of the legion
The spotlight cache system isn't out yet? I thought it was dropping with the Jean Grey update.
Once the update is pushed and the relevant Collector Reserve caches are converted to Spotlight caches, we can open the Collector Reserve caches in between the Spotlight caches right?
yea i think so, when he says series 3 cards in the video, he actually meant series 4 cards.

Nice video. I don't agree only with spending 1000 tokens for a series 3 card. Why would I do that when I can open a few normal cashes and get it for free.

what if you open 5 of these caches in one week? Do you just get 4/5 cost cards or credits and some other things?

Why? This is great for f2p players. It’s hard for us to get series 4 and 5 cards from the token shop so this is great! Also conquest mode is awesome. I guess I don’t understand why people are straying away from the game when it’s at its best.
@@QuiGonJack10 I haven't done the math, as it is quite complicated to do so, but I prefer the old system better. We had way more control over which cards we get. In the old system once someone becomes Series 3 complete, they get 400 tokens on average every cashe, and then they are able to get whichever card they desire from the token shop. Now we have to basically wait for the right card to come in the spotlight cashe and then gamble, because there are useless variants in there (for which I personally don't care in the slightest).
Hey thank you for your advice ! I’m pretty sure that they said already that they will not allow hoarding anymore, basically once you hit the reserve it will open directly it seems like.
Hey I have questions how much tokens will costs you if the cards is series 4/5?will it be 3k tokens or 6k?

I have 90 reserves, what you are not addressing is which spotlight cache would appear, is it every 120CL or is it every 10 reserve base on your current unlocked in the track?
That way you want to open them before the patch and only leave the spotlight caches untouched and still get the gold from all the reserves inbetween before you patched it
No one knows that exactly so i cant say. But im pretty sure it will be every 120 levels no idea if it will start at 0 when the patch hits or if you may be lets say on cache number lets say 8 when it starts.

What’s wrong with hoarding? If you don’t want the cards available you shouldn’t have to get them. He’s not a part of the problem
