Hi Karen 💖 well I woke at 5 am and the host of the stream didn’t show up, I tried to go back to sleep but once awake I cannot sleep, so I’m enjoying this video of yours...once again Karen, thank you so much for working on this adorable picture. 💖💖
I love it so far, it’s just adorable and I can see it coming together, I think I need to make my wood darker as I prefer the color you used, Karen you are the best! Thanks so much! 💖💖
Hi Karen!💖 I didn’t think you would color this picture until after Christmas, I’m not complaining lol I’m actually thrilled you are! Thank you Karen!! 💖💖
Hi absolutely in love with this picture, I think the thing you called a fish grill is actually a butter paddle, , and the berries in the bottom left corner are rose hips.
Thank You Karen! As ALWAYS wonderful coloring inspiration! Glad I'm not alone... trying to figure out the items in this type of picture (their SO CUTE)! Lol! YES! Chrstmas present to self... "Albrecht Durer" 😁😉 Thank You Very Much!!! Soooo Fuuunnn!!😁😊😘
Karen this is coming out great! I’m so glade you’ve been using polys! That’s all I have and I too have hand issues. So I completely understand why use water coloring first. I’m thinking about trying your method because I can only color for a short time.😎🎅
Hello, I love your work. I think what you colored as blueberries, is actually pomegranates. Lol! I can't tell you how many pictures I've ruined, because I thought something was one thing, but then I later realized it was something else. Oh, well live and learn. Thank you for your wonderful videos.
Hi Karen. Your work is always beautiful! Do you mind sharing the brand and model of the printer you use? I have a printer on my wishlist, one that will print cardstock. Also which Strathmore mixed media paper do you prefer? Thanks so much!
I have a HP Envy 4520 cheap printer. Here is a link to the Strathmore mixed media paper: www.amazon.com/dp/B007L6D8SM/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_QDAZFbYS01BE2
Great find! Thanks for the links and the tutorial!!! I was seeing her new coloring book advertised everywhere, but I don’t believe in paying high shipping that costs as much as your average coloring book does on Amazon! Your way works much better! 😉😍 Do you print through Adobe Reader? I know you can choose “shrink to fit” on the print screen depending on the size of the paper you’re using. I love having you deduce what all the items are, as I’m clueless in a kitchen! 😂Please let me know if I can do any printing research for you, I know there are a lot of pdf reading programs. Or if you’re using a jpg I know all options change. I’m better with computers, you’re clearly better at coloring 😘 I’m all for helping if I can. I am grateful to you!
I love how you lay it out first, then start to flesh it out with a few colors. I never really thought about that approach. I imagine it helps you not to get so overwhelmed with all the details. Do you pick a color palette first too? Or you do you just decide the colors as you decide what to color first?
I pick one main color, like this pic has a lot of wood, so that would be my main color choice. The rest are colors that would complement the main color... those I wing... lol
When I tried to watercolor over a page I printed , the printer ink smeared. My printer is a ink jet. Do you use something special to keep it from smearing when you watercolor? Do I need a laser printer? Thank you
I use a workable fixative after printing and let it dry fully, then use the watercolors. Here is a link to the fixative I use: www.amazon.com/dp/B00023JE7U/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_23y1FbQK6SFQC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Adding a wall texture would of been a neat idea too. Either wood planks, a wallpaper design or even a stone or brickwall would of made it even more interesting. Thanks for sharing, you got me thinking now lol.(Edit) I got it... a rustic teal wood plank wall would of went well with all the natural wood color. :D
Merci pour le lien des illustrations 😍🥰 à bientôt 👋🏼😘❄️🎄
