Considering the amount of Switch port recently that have been underwhelming and disappointing, it's so nice to see a Switch version that's identical to the main console versions.
Getting this on switch, it was a dream to have these now classics on the go back then

This is exactly what I've been waiting for before pre-ordering; ensuring it's running at 60 FPS on Switch. Otherwise I was going to get it on PC I guess to play on my laptop while traveling.
wow this looks really cool. I love that blocky look of the old Tomb Raider games, can't wait to dive into them again.
If you didn't know tombraider on pc has had a custom level editor going on since 1999 and all 5 of them has had custom levels being made since 1999.

Important to note that when playing with the og graphics, the frame rate is also the original 30fps
How this was omitted in a video titled 'Performance review', I have no idea. This is a huge caveat to the playability of the OG mode.
I was worried how this would run on Switch but I'm sold. I'm gonna grab this as soon as I can. Thank you for your preview!

The real Tomb Raider games with beautiful iconic looking Lara Croft. Timeless classics of exploration, puzzle solving and atmosphere :-)

Well, actually, people use the previous version a lot to make custom levels on PCS, so unless this version gets that to on doubt, they'd stop.

TR 3s Opening level is notorious for stuttering on the ps1 due to maxing out the poly count. I'm curious to see how they addressed this
Euhm, it's not running a PSX emulator ... Why would it matter on today's hardware?
@@CommDante I'm a Busdriver and I clocked 60h of driving nasty ppl through this god forsaken city last week.... Which is why my brain is just a pile of broken, misfiring neurons. Excuse my comment. you're right it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
I look forward to it once they bother to release it physically... even if I have to import it, or even *shudder* use Limited Run.

I‘m sceptical for the review. If NWR sounds so positive here they will most likely give the collection a 4 or 5 out of 10 at the end lol.
at a buffet, i personally sneak corndogs into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 corndogs in my jacket pockets. it then, is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corndogs thinking they were part of the buffet.
Homemade or store bought?
As a 15 year old kid loved the gameplay mechanics but hated to play as a girl with big boobs, now at my 43 and father of 3 kids I go back to it with a lot of regret that I didn't enjoy the game because of childish nonsense. Also the later tomb Raider games have nothing to do with the old school.
Most guys I know around that age had posters of Lara Croft from game-mags on their walls. 😁
