So bummed this wasn’t available in the UK (unless going through a 3rd party). However for some reason I had expected the box to be plastic rather than cardboard like an actual crate. So feeling slightly less bummed now I’ve seen it. Plus I have the original Disney Cal Kestis saber anyway, which I was lucky enough to get the crate signed by Cameron Monaghan last year in Belfast.
It's from LimitedRun and I ordered there myself, living in the Netherlands. So it was available for everyone
I had ample opportunity to buy it in the UK. LimitedRun were selling them but also another site Double Boxed Toys had them at a higher price.
I just decided against it because I wanted the game digitally & £220 for a single blue saber (very similar to the existing broken version) in a cardboard box was abit much in my mind.
In hindsight tho I'm really glad I gave it a miss because I just ordered the Limited Edition Fallen Order version (with Cere's switch and saber) and I'd say that's better value for money since you get 2 separate sabers for £360 (£180 each basically) that can be combined and you can change the blade colour of them both like in the game.
@@theprofessor_geeklounge Yeah essentially the extra the higher price that Double Boxed Toys were charging virtually brought the prices the same as LimitedRun once you incorporated international shipping and import tax, so more like £400 cost to us in the UK which is obscene for what it is.
Luckily too, the limited edition version doesn't have as much popularity. I think the general consensus is that the Half Jaro Tapal and Cere combination is ugly, although iv always kinda liked it myself since it's different.
Anyways it's meant that it wasn't a battle to order one and they're actually still available now 10 hours later.

Great unboxing video! I got mine today and it was totally worth it especially for the magnetic box and a full-size functional Cal Kestis replica lightsaber hilt . I can't wait to play the sequel to fallen order!

The light sabre does look awesome, if surprising big for the hilt, but it the kind of thing that falls a bit flat when it isn't actually on. It's really the sort of thing were you want it on some sort of pedestal connected to the mains so that you can leave it powered on for the best display effect. Otherwise those batteries are going to drain very, very quickly.
But as far as collector's editions go I prefer to just have steelbook cases (the one with that set looks really nice) as I have no space for anything else.

Hilt is amazing. Had no idea it would be this heavy lol. This is my first lightsaber and I ordered a GE legacy blade. Is there an additional adapter I need to connect it or did I buy the wrong blade? Thanks!
Great video! Everyone is complaining about the performance on PC and I'm like dude; I wouldn't play anything less than my 4090 and 5800x3d. Plays great! Sure there's some stuttering but that's just unreal engine. Star Wars fan here--- subscribed!

Makes sence for the hilt to be larger than normal blades as it original belonged to Jaro Tapal Who was a rather large Lasat.

Well, exclusive for at least a short time, unless there is some special cosmetic that will be unique to this special set. Disney are set to start selling THIS version of the Kestis/Topal saber at the parks on May 4th…
@@kidwajagstang highly doubt it. They still have the broken version and having 2 of them where the only difference is a screwable piece would not be a good move

I have the PC version of the Collecter's Edition. The hilt is a heavy one compared to the third party sabers that I own. The blade wasn't a problem since I had one from the Protection and Defense I built at Disneyland three years ago. Think of it being sized for a Lasat hand rather than a normal sized human hand.

People get the size wrong on this saber a lot, it was a Saber made for someone much bigger then a human so seeing this saber the correct size is pretty cool.

yeah but then again, when cal held the saber in the first game it looked a lot more like the size of the custom saber

Disney sabers a are not bad. However you are better off buying the Disney park version of the saver as it has the destroyed version and can make the double bladed one

The big hilt that came in this box makes complete sense size wise. Look how massive Cal's master was. A regular sized hilt would be far too small for him to wield effectively. I think it's cool they made it size appropriate.

Well considering how huge the original owner of that Saber was ( cal's master, I forget his name), realistically the hilt would have to be that big in order for his massive 3 fingered hands to wield it properly.

They don't need too. The custom saber world is immense and every single hilt is available to build in or buy pre-owned. These Disney versions are terribly inferior to custom. And either more expensive or similar in pricing.
I still have my first edition Darth Vader and Mace Windu master replicas lightsabers from way back in the early 2000's. The mace windu one is a bit oversized and heavy, but the Darth Vader one is perfect.

Great video. As someone that owns several higher quality lightsabers, including a custom Cal like yours, that one is not worth the cost. The Disney sabers are so outdated and outclassed at this point.
