    I am BAFFLED by the way she put the shower in to the wall so it looks like the shower head is actually coming out of the wall. Why have I never thought of this😱 I am playing the sims for almost 24 years. HOW.

    • @loraelstad8941
      @loraelstad8941 11 місяців тому +2

      I knew about it, but it always seemed to me that the plain wall paint would get ruined IRL, which is the reason for the tiling being included in the shower itself. I may have done it if I was using a tile feature wall in that corner and didn’t like the tile in the shower object, though.

    We do have an old real sauna in our house in Sweden (or bastu as it's called in swedish) but it's used for storage since for as long as I can remember. And it's not very big. Saunas is more of a finnish thing tho I'd say, even if I think all the Nordic countries use and like them.

    It is common in the northern part of Sweden (where I live) to have a sauna in your house. But it’s even more common in Finland, pretty sure they even have championships in sauna bathing there 😊 I myself have an infrared sauna in my house but that’s not very common. The standard is a kind of steam sauna where you throw water on hot rocks that sits on the “heater” (the old ones you heat like a fireplace with wood but the most common now is electric).

    Actually, being a violinist myself, buying a newly made peofessional violin for 15,000$/ simoleons is a very good deal. If you want an old violin you can pay up to 10/50 times more. And I'm not even talking about the famous Stradivarius violins. So 15,000 is like a minimum for a professional violin

    Hi 👋🏻 Deli. Really feeling this apartment! With so many rooms I figure it’s high end enough to have a sauna. Can confirm that a sauna in so many homes/apartments is highly a Finnish thing, from conversations about that very thing with a Finnish moderator for another chat in which I’m a regular. 👍🏻 I love the tones in the bedrooms & the yellow rug in the purple one matched up great with the smaller golden round pillow in center of the flanking ones on the bed. Not sure which bedroom is my favorite, as each seems to have its own mood. Maybe the more coastal looking one edges out the others, for me. I also love that the light colors weren’t overpowering thanks to the balancing grays. I’m probably a weird minority, but I’m actually really loving the kind of darkened hallway just as it is, even though I know others mentioned book nook stuff. It feels kind of like an epic museum corridor moment (especially with the classy, tasteful objects you used for decorations, which I somehow associate with richer apartments or homes. As if they don’t want harsh bright lights ruining their priceless artworks/artifacts. I also find it calming. Not sure why. Maybe my ancient ancestors lived in some nice caves. 😆 Any ideas for what you’ll move onto after all the apartment renos?

    I live in Belgium and my grandpa-in-law worked in Volvo and they had a sauna at his work, which was pretty cool. But know they removed it because lots of people were not respectfull and left it dirty and broke stuff etc.

    Saunas are common in Sweden. We have one in my apartment building, they built it a few years ago after popular demand 😅

    I’m still watching the build as I comment so you may say this already. I’m pretty sure everyone’s Pinterest is based on their previous searches, saves, and their personalized algorithm because recently I’ve been googling to see if it is possible to reset our algorithm. I love this build aesthetic and you are recreating it perfectly but it doesn’t show up at all on my feed 😩 Mine is perfectly tailored to me with boho, whimsical, cottage/fairy core, dark and moody library’s, Victorian and art deco posts. That is my exact aesthetic and I love my feed but I like to be exposed to new styles too.

    I’m from Sweden!! Yes it’s actually quite common in the north, especially in older houses. But as a few already had said, it’s more of a Finnish-thing 😅

    I live in appartment building, I don't have sauna but the appartment building right next to mine has a shared sauna that I could use if I want to, but i don't. I rather visit my mom and go to her sauna :D It's quite true that in Finland we have lots on saunas

    Hey, I love your work it's fantastic ! Do you sometimes use different floor levels to define or demarcate spaces inside your builds ? I really love what you did with this appartment, I've been wanted to renovate it for ages :)

    (Sorry about the excessive amount of comments on this video) I have a soft foam-like mat in my kitchen. It's called a "Wellness Mat" if you're interested. It's really thick and cushiony under your feet, and the surface is really easy to clean. You just put some dish soap and warm water into something and just scrub it gently with a cloth. Also, when you're done, rinse it with water to get rid of the suds and leave it outside to dry. Takes no time to clean at all, and you only really need to clean it every two weeks. Also, I have a cork flooring in my kitchen and it looks really nice and is really soft and bouncy under your feet. Would defo recommend for your kitchen reno

    Hey Deli,
    What if you renovated the community lots in San Myshuno too? You could even create a residential rental apartment in San Myshuno!
    What do you think? 😊

    They also tried make Starbucks happen in Brazil, but our bakeries kinda also work as coffee shops, and in the big cities they work 24/7. Also, we are every selective with our coffee, and people here usually think that coffee from the North sucks because it's not strong enough. They're just leaving the country and they never stood a chance ngl

    Also, that Australian Kmart Target stuff is pretty interesting. Kmarts in America are trash. They are barely a step up from dollar stores. I don't even live near any Walmarts, so there are definitely no Kmarts. We have Targets which are considered your one stop shop.
