God touches your life in ways that we cannot imagine - with the samaritan lady, he knew everything about her and had a conversation with her in the well. This was a direct communication. This interaction changed her life, and she went out and spread the word and her experience. With the officer, Jesus already knew what he wanted and healed his son from afar. This was an indirect interaction. Jesus works in our lives all the time - whether that be direct or indirect, Jesus knows what you want even before you ask and he knows you IN and OUT. I think this is so amazing about Jesus... and I can't be more grateful to have found someone who loves you so much despite my flaws... my sins... it's just soooo amazing.

I also gleaned from this chapter that- even in transition from one location to another-Jesus met the needs of people whom He otherwise wouldn’t have taken time for. Similarly as we move from one opportunity to another to reach the lost, don’t forget to keep your eyes and heart open during a transition.
