This is a fabulous idea. I have a tattered old Night before Christmas book I’ve had since my eldest boy was born that I just can’t get rid of. My eldest is 43!! I’m thinking I may be able to preserve it a bit and add photos. Ive now added it to my very long to do list. Thank you so much ~ Lin
Loved the video and the end result. I have made bow bands, ears (not so good at these), scrunchies and scrunchies with ties. Also made some simple gathered skirts.
Really happy to see you using the netting fabric that I sent you. I love how you layered the fabrics and trims and your finished journal looks lovely. I appreciate the shout-out too, thank you xx
I want to buy a hardback of The Tiger who Came to Tea to make into an art journal as it was my favourite childhood book. Also a Secret Garden illustrated hardback would make a great journal. I’d leave the fronts as you did.
I'm shocked you didn't have little golden books when you were little. I live in Australia and I had a massive stack of those books. I'm sad now that I don't have them as I would have made so many journals. I have a friend who makes and sells these books (journals). I don't like Disney, but I do follow your other channel and enjoyed watching you in Paris. You're excitement was lovely, it made me miss travelling.
Hi. I don't think they were a thing in the UK. I don't remember ever seeing them and my Mum was obsessed with buying us books as was I with my two kids. Thank you so much, that's so sweet. I appreciate you watching : )
Thank YOU for inspiring me! I work for Papermaze and just saw this post on their Instagram page and was blown away! I am a mad Disney fan and have just had two trips to Florida since December and I am going to do this with my photos, I can’t wait 😊
I love this so much! I’ve been planning on doing a little golden book journal and have collected a few books for the past couple weeks. Thanks for sharing!!
I was making one of these today :) I've done a couple of Christmas Little Golden Books. They are a really good book to upcycle! Can't wait to see you filling this one up with all your memories ♥
WOW!!! That was amazing, way out of my crafting range (I'm a newbie crafter) but maybe one day? LOVE the camera paper 📸📷 Thanks for the link to this Lisa, I really enjoyed it.
I LOVE this! This year's christmas/december journal I'm planning to find an old book to use for my documenting. I think it's something different and helps when the pages aren't blank white!
Love this I do 12x 12 layouts and never tried this so I'm inspiring to try thanks for sharing
Thanks so much. I haven't done a 12x12 for so long but still love them.

You are sweet. Glad you enjoyed it. It's basically just folding paper and sewing it in place.

Thank you. I agree. I'd love to know what book you end up upcycling 😍
I love scotch create glue or Fabri-Fix glue. Both can be found on Amazon!
Thanks, I'll take a look x
❤❤❤❤❤
Try using a heat gun on the gold part and it will come right off
Thanks so much for the tip 😊
