Fishing Wivenhoe Dam / Bass Didn't Turn up but Yellowbelly Did

After a long morning of well over 500 casts and only a few catfish in the boat I ended up seeing some fence post's sticking out of the water and went for a look. These posts ended up being next to the old river and dropped down to about 60 foot of water even when the dam was at about 50%. All the hard work for the morning paid off with a nice couple of yellowbelly landed.
