0:36 seconds in and you say Noodle, my dog (Noodle) jumps up and starts to look for who’s calling her…just like every time I watch your videos 😂 looking forward to the rest of the video.
A good way to keep cool in this recent mad weather! Seen similar kinds of mines like this, those arches and wire meshes are always a bit worrying going through, I guess they are sound if you don't wing off them.
Great Video my friend !.. the image quality it’s outstanding ! 👌🏼🎥 .. still got to release part 2 of mine !, this is one of the most challenging mines /physically/ bad with dust /draining the energy out of you then ladders 😂… doubt I’ll ever be back here !, but you can never say never I guess lol
Thanks Antonio. We have another challenge fir you now, one we did today and us arguably worse than this place. It will be tomorrow's video, there are a few teaser pics in the group and on the channel :)
Fair play you guys that sketchy as hell, no fear 🤔 Been down loads of mines in Cornwall and Devon when I was younger, what abuzz. Can’t imagine what it was like as a job back years ago Hard core literally, best miners in the world the hard rock miners
I remember that shaft from one of your older videos and it freaked me out, im guessing that water flows down there 24/7 so where does it all go, you would think that would have totally flooded down there after all this time, freaky looking mine, Not something I have ever fancied doing but fascinated by mining, great vid 👍🏻
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but if a mine has been flooded and dries out, would it be more prone to having the shoring blow in because the pressure of the water is no longer helping to support it?
What about the creepy voice at 11.40? The girder from the roof designed to stop cars running down a drift we used to call "Mankers". Sometimes instead there was an RSJ on a hinge vertically across the roadway and this was a "Manchester Gate".
Is this what lies behind 'The Black Door'? If so then wow!!! In the other video that torrent looked more like some half-collapsed feature in a reservoir than a mine! I really have to take my hat off to Antonio as well! He is _deeply_ knowledgable on the topic and unfailingly cheerful even when tackling the most brutal, forbidding parts of these mines. I have no doubt that he is a very reassuring chap to know you have at your back in case of emergency!
We don't explore with people unless we know they will have our backs in an emergency. Yes, this is beyond the black door. Without a wetsuit and gloves, thar shadt is nit survivable, I tried the first time in the other video and abandoned the attempt. Even fully kitted, we were cold by the bottom and the climb back up was horrendous, took a lot of mind over matter.
Great video, sketchy mine. Also hearing y'all complain about 30c, or 86F makes me laugh, 86F (30C) is a decent summer day in Virginia. Through most of July it was upwards of 92F (33C), but in all fairness, air conditioning isn't as common over there.
@@UKAbandonedMineExplores Doesn't sound fun, but at least you had that nice chilly water to cool off with! Probably felt like the lake I use to swim in as a kid, mountain water, never did get warm even if it was 95F all summer. Nothing stranger than stumbling out of the water into the summer heat with your teeth chattering haha!
That should be known as "The Kaleidoscope of Colours" mine
Brilliant explore guys
Thanks, you doing a marathon watch today? Just working on next 3 weeks videos and recording more tomorrow :)
Dodgy is an understatement! Be careful guys!
Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
Our pleasure! :)

Lol, glad to be of service lol
😂😂😂
Another great explore Stephen. Thanks to you, Antonio and Curtis.
Our pleasure! :)
Great stuff lads😮😮🙏👍
Thanks :)
Omg 😮that bent prop “I can’t get past this without touching something”
The girder in the roof is to stop runaways when lowered called a warwick girder
Ahh, thanks, yes, I have seen one in another mine :)

Yep, not as strong as stone arches, but imagine would be very expensive and time consuming to build them that large.
That is true! Great explore though, you thawed out yet? 🥶

I forgot to look I was so wet, but seems to ho towards a collapse
Scary and very wet explore there boys. Don't imagine that old mine gets many visitors these days?
No, nit many at all and most don't go down that shaft.
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but if a mine has been flooded and dries out, would it be more prone to having the shoring blow in because the pressure of the water is no longer helping to support it?
It does, that's why, when we discover and drain old mines, we allow them 2 weeks to settle.
@@UKAbandonedMineExplores thanks 🙂
@@UKAbandonedMineExplores when you say Drain the mine, surely this would be a commercial undertaking!

Did you not see the eyes at the same time? That's Fred the mine demon :). RSJ?

30 degrees + in a wetsuit walking up a valley lol. Naa, English air conditioning = a fan and an ice cream :)

1 word is deadly, the other 2 word's is never again 😂 Antonio's and his gang have got more guts than me. The first and probably only time for me😂😂😂
Have you been in there? :)
Oh yes mate, it's worse than the sallet hole mine in stoney, I thought that was bad my day's that was something else hardcore lol
I thought the mines are haunted
Maybe they are! ;)
Fully enjoyed watching you all getting wet as I soak in the nice hot bath .Great video as always . Cheers Alan 🍻
Thanks 👍. Had a nice hot bath afterwards :)
Antonio give me a message, me and the gang I'm with could do a Duo together 😁👍👍
Very niceeee. Also very wet😂👍👍👍👍
