Hello! Back to Mr. Flathead! Is a funny inspirational story for children, and adults. There is nothing more precious to see a child catch a fish. Hoping to plant good seeds in the eyes of a child. Thank you
Rappahannock has some nice fish for sure. Me and my buddy put a few over 30 in the boat last week at port royal and deff not the best tine of year to catch the big ones
Great information. Love hearing about the James River. I grew up on the James River in South Dakota and it's the same here in the fact that it's loaded with blues.
Cristian mentioned Chuck Jarvis. I've fished with him and credit him with my Citation Blue. Chuck is an wesome guide and equally as nice as this fella. Great work on this content.
The catfish were stocked in the James in 1978 and only in the James. The peak was after 2000 when the original stock were reaching 100lbs. I think the 100lb days are over but still loaded with 40-80lb fish.
This was an awesome video! Oh by the way Christian is my first cousin and he’s an awesome fella!! Not just saying that because we’re family I’d tell you that even if we wasn’t!! I need to get up there and fish with him one day! Still haven’t got a chance to do that yet but definitely will be doing it here in the near future. I’m still stuck down here in NC in his hometown Loved the video! And the information
And you, sir, are a heck of an interviewer. It takes an angler to interview an angler. Even Larry King wouldn't have asked most of the questions you knew to ask. Great video, as usual, Dieter.
Thanks man….having interesting subjects, and folks that are articulate like Christian helps. Many folks are intimidated to sit down in front of the camera and chat like that….

That's got to be probably one of the best interviews you've done with a guide just my opinion 👌 what a awesome guy
As someone who lives near the Fredericksburg area, this episode really hits home for me.

Good show.
I wish I knew as much, no, just 1/4 as much about catfishing as you and Christian know about catfishing know.

Blue cats don't need to be stocked on any tributary on Chesapeake Bay there in every tributary there is and out in the middle of the Bay
One of the biggest challenges is making sure to stay out of the mud. Beware of the north side of Turkey Island. 😵
Dont be surprised if you see a bull shark ,too! Lower james.
