Hello my fellow yakuzas, I am here to bring an update to Dragon if you are watching this video to learn about it. Currently, Dragon cannot extend nor start a juggle with the S1b. It will now hard knock regardless. As a result, it also only has one optimal juggle combo: Third Finisher > M2 > S1b Combo. Dragon now has one dash opposed to two now but currently has the shortest counter skill cooldown when landed. However, due to the one dash nerf this forces Dragon more into a more passive playstyle opposed to being an aggressive style. Despite having the tools to do so. It falls apart quickly when an opponent blocks or starts pressuring Dragon which also makes Dragon almost bad in pressuring people blocking due to its M2s being objectively one of the worst M2s in the game (cannot break block reliably, has horrible damage, doesn't knock and harms the Dragon more than aids it and only purpose is to do the optimal combo listed above). I would say Dragon as the only level 500 style currently is not worth it despite backdashes being changed. I also do not expect Volk to change Dragon directly as I believe these might be the final changes to it. That is all, thank you for reading this if you did.
Hello friend, regarding your comment, what does m2 of the dragon mean? In my experience with the dragon, I have done quite well breaking blocks and doing good damage and winning fights, but I am considering switching to Koi, is it a good decision?
@@itscold8763 Well, Dragon's M2 is considered an M1. Much like how Boxer and Stomp work for their first hit. As I look over it, it does have TWO uses but block breaking isn't one of them. Which isn't good in my opinion. Dragon is still fine but personally not worth in my eyes. Also I find Koi very boring. It has a combo string that is VERY repetitive and finisher into S3 is by far the most broken thing about Koi since I was testing damage. Koi does 60% raw to a style like Bruiser, Slugger, and Reborn. It's quite literally a win button anytime you wanna use it. :P

Reading your comment is that I was able to record several of my problems, because almost always I have no way to break the shield with the m2, in the end I must be forced to break it with a combo from 3 m1s. Considering the current state of the game, is there any style you would recommend? I am a player who adapts to defense more than offense.
@@brolyfierro1065 Assuming you'd want a style that has better defense to play with and assumes the role well, I'll give out some recommendations. Officer is quite literally the all-rounder style. It almost has no flaws. It is perfect for being aggressive or defensive which I recommend mixing both with the grab. Koi is an odd one but it has a block counter. The only issue is that it doesn't have armor so you have to time it right. Land the S2B and you'll be good. Do your usual combo after the land and then S3 off finisher if need be. If you want better aggression on defense, those two work fine but Koi not as much. Go for Step, Rusher, Bruiser, Reborn, Stomp, and such.

K I W A M I M E A N S E X T R E M E!! *proceeds to get Komaki Parried* S H I F T + E He did not sugarcoat it, anyways, in my experience, Dragon's grind was easy because of Demon being so broken and easy to learn, i tried out the style a while ago and oh boy, it was better than i expected, i love it, he has EXTREME damage, i can end fights quickly if played well, the dropkick only works with 2 quick steps to the sides because otherwise it gets cancelled and i get comboed, i absolutely love the S2, most fighters are easy to predict because of their aggressive playstyles so it works very well and i love hitting those counters, despite not being a tiger drop like in UF4 which is missed, komaki parry is still very cool and it stuns the enemy so you can hit a long combo with no worries and the S3! Speak of the devil or should i say Dragon (hah im so funny.) The S3 is literally a reference to the OG Yakuza 2's ultimate slap heat action (prob from Yakuza 3-4 too but same thing), i love the change even if its not ultimate essence of dragon from Kiwami 1 like in UF4, it's good that Volk remembered the old good games, a good finisher i know is S2 + S3, ends fights quicker and its so epic. Overall, Dragon's an amazing style (man.. I yap a lot..) Oh btw, Toma, i have a question, which Yakuza game should i platinum first in my PS4? Think about it cus i will gladly try it even if its a hard game to 100% on, if you don't want to answer, it's fine.

PEAK video,I noticed they reworked the animations later to look like the y5 kiryu moveset instead of the classic dod moveset except the taunt being from the classic moveset
