It’s not the basic skills I lack it’s the products available now that weren’t even a few years ago. People only see a house they don’t see all the bits that make it up. These have changed dramatically and unless you’re active in the trades you fall behind very fast. I was sent to pasture almost a decade ago and am ignorant to most of the changes. These are ok and I haven’t came across one that leaks but still hesitant installing them in ponding areas.
Thank for the vid, I hope younger generation grows interest to roofing.

Thanks for the feedback. These penetrations are always a leak concern so we try and seal it even before the pocket goes on to double waterproof the detail.
