Thank you for the kind words for the 3D buildings I put together for Black Powder Red Earth. Anyone on the fence should jump on over and check the game out. It's so well balanced, and just awesome to look at! Worth every penny!
Thanks for introducing me to Hartolia. I just downloaded their entire Alamo files for less than $12 in the final hours of MMF’s summer sale. Turns out a lot of Hartolia’s offerings originally were made by WOW for some of their many historical terrain Kickstarters.
As jerry already has the mounted knights and is getting the foot knights he already is very close to having a warband for upcoming saga age of chivalry.
as a player of genestealer cults ( in the 90's ) am i the only one looking at that hover car and seeing it as a limo for my purestrains ! surely not ? lol
The Victrix Foot Knights look awesome and i wonder how they fare size wise to the Wargames Atlantic knights. It seems as Victrix and Wargsmes Atlantic are racing to release Barons War minis. Really waiting for the Wargames Atlantic mounted knights that are expected soon.
This episode is amazing because Justin clearly has lag on his side. Which means everytime he talks it seems like Gerry and John take a solid three seconds of confusion to parse what he's talking about
The whole LOS debate reminds me of the old Battletroops game from FASA - infantry combat for Battletech. You could put a man on overwatch and the width of his LOS depended on how many movement points you spent on it. Fun game.
Black Powder gameplay seems solid, great minis and presentation, .... but that price tag, ooof. Looking for a modern warfare game / minis, any recomendation?
Patreon £5 gets you pdf of EVERYTHING they've ever done including all the graphic novels....... And spectre did do an Ember team which is 28mm and the 1st tabletop version of the dudes from Cold Harbour. Not sure if its stilll available but there is that. Also TBF my BPRE patreon is that £5 I don't miss but occasionally is awesome thing .
I wish we could do something about the shipping costs, but unfortunately, the postal system is what it is. There’s no way for us to send stuff to your country at a lower price. Worse, we cannot even pre-pay customs on packages to the UK or EU anymore.
@@OnTableTop Not the person you asked, but I am curious if you guys have taken a look at Blkout before? Black Powder Red Earth seems quite similar, so definitely interesting to me. Thanks for covering it!
@@icecreambrainz8726 I've played both and found myself gravitating towards BPRE more than Blkout. BPRE is so fast to play and so tactical... it is about as close to chess as I've seen but a hell of a lot more exciting 😀

Lucky enough to know Paul Sawyer a bit, absolutely stunning chap. Helped me finish last in the 2002 GT. Bacon Butties all around.
those black powder minis look great
That church from the end bit would be perfect for playing Where Eagles Dare on the tabletop! 😊

Love BPRE. It is fun but really brutal.

The Hartolia buildings look like they might fit with Malifaux too
Tales of the old west is a kickstarter I'm really keeping an eye on.
Holy crap! Gerry does the 1s and 0s!?! Yep, the world is ending
Tales of the Old West is exciting! Thanks for sharing!

TGIF. Best part of my weekend, right here.
And the weekender starts now 🎉
Happy weekend.
Sad news about Paul, thoughts and prayers 🙏 for him and his family.

Nice one :)
Terrible news about Paul :(
Been looking at Black Powder but the postage to the UK has always been sadly too much.

Yeah tbh the prices for post from the US are insane......
Seen people quoting $10+ for untracked and bog standard postage on stickers.
I will say this tho @BlackPowderRedEarth are good people and will get stuff to you even if the postal system takes the piss price wise.
@@BlackPowderRedEarth I appreciate the info and someone above mentioned your Patreon so I’ll look into that as I way to get the PDFs.
Sad news
Sadly nothing of interest for me once again. Ah well perhaps next week if I can be bothered to look in.
What would you be interested in?
