I work at DT, I have noticed a pattern amongst stores here in the US. There are 3 factors that determine what is stocked: size, location, and what sells. The larger stores obviously get more stock, however, if it has a freezer and refrigerator section, the focus is on the food, so they get more food products and less of everything else, although seasonal stock varies based on what sells at each store. They conduct sort of sales experiments sometimes to test what sells and how fast. There are more and more locations popping up almost every week, so look for non food centric stores that are larger and more in suburban areas, those have the best stock, and biggest variety of new items. O no I definitely make circles and triangles and hexogons ,if my Mom or sister calls me while I'm in Dollar Tree they say "o wow yeah nevermind I know you won't be here for hours" I get lost in there EVERYDAY and I'm just fine about that!!! Lol
My Dollar Tree stores have Never had half of the Easter decor your stores do. Even as the holiday nears , your stores still have 95% more decor than my stores. I'm so jealous. Thank you for letting me have some fun shopping with you.
That’s such a good selection of sprinkles! At my local dollarama I found baker’s brand chocolate chips for $3!! It was a 300g pack which is just an amazing deal. I also found Wilton cookie cutters for $1 each. They were in the Easter aisle and they had an egg, butterfly and a flower.
Oh my goodness where is this? What a great Dollar Tree! Ours are trash compared to yours. I've been searching for the green moss and the lemon and lime packs for ages. Also, the brown and beige colored storage containers. And I have never seen any of those baking items. I wish Dollar Tree would be consistent throughout all of their stores. It's really frustrating. The Dollar Trees in Canada are so much better than the ones in my area of the US. I have two in my town and they hardly ever have the wood cutouts and this year neither have had many of the neat Easter signs I’m seeing on all the videos.
I love going along on your trips to DT. I'm in awe at your store (s). I rarely see the assortment you have. I've been venturing out further lately and my sister and I actually found a new store Tuesday. I had already found a good DT in that town, who knew there was a second store. We visited both stores that day and the week before we had gone to another in a close by town. I soon discovered all Dollar Tree's are not created equal. The last time I visited DT in my town I was disappointed, they didn't seem to have a lot of anything. I finally went back to DT in my town today and was blown away. I actually found about 3x as many items than usual. I bought quite a few things for projects that I hadn't been able to find. I did try to find some face masks but they only had the 2 pack of the standard blue ones and the package of the children's prints. And although our governor has released restrictions in our state, I will continue to wear masks. I've never found cloth face masks at any of the stores. Neither did they have the assortment of stickers, sprinkles or other baking accessories, tissue paper or a lot of other things. Your selection of paint is incredible. We haven't had an increase in price but how can they justify an increase when there are only about 4 colors in around 3 varieties? The stock in your store was amazing. When I walked into one of the stores in another town yesterday, the manager was trying to open boxes and put up new stock. There was a stack of the pastel storage bins, something I'd been trying to find for weeks, and asked him if I could get some. He laughed and said yes, to help myself and I grabbed several. I see these bins piled high in so many videos but never see them at any stores around me. I love watching your videos and I watch a few others to see what's new at DT. I watch and make a list of things I want to get. The last list had about 12 items on it and it took over a week and 3 stores to find most of those items. I started a new list and made a trip to the 2 stores in another town, added to the list then went to the store in my town, finally got a few things on the list plus so much more. The difference in my last list was making little diagrams on my list instead of writing items. It's hard to remember all the projects I'd watched so now I'm just putting suggestions since I never know what the store will actually have. A lot of the stores realize the DIY following DT has. The manager yesterday said their Crafters Square had been stripped, he can't keep merchandise on the shelf because it goes so fast. I also went to their website. Something I've seen for quite a while is the over the door towel hangers. Of course I've seen them in videos but never in a store. I even asked but there wasn't even a place for them anywhere. They were even backordered on the website. And of course it's one of those items that you have to buy a case of 24. And several other things I looked at online were also backordered. It's kind of a love/hate relationship with DT. You see all the wonderful things they have to offer, then go into 4 different stores to not find them. But I'll keep looking and trying to find more stores close by. Never give up, never surrender! That's our motto in the stubborn state. 🤠 Thanks for sharing and getting my hopes up. LOL, not your fault but I'm so envious.

It takes me back to my youth at my grandmother's house in Dallas. There was a family across the street that we became friends with and they had several daughters. My sister and I shared many activities with them. I remember when we went on a scavenger hunt and had so much fun trying to collect all the items on the list. Our brother even joined in on the fun. Thanks for bringing back a fond memory. 😊 Something I don't often share is I am a compulsive list maker. I always grin when you're in the stationary area looking at note pads, etc. I've actually grabbed little notebooks, some with dividers to keep my lists sorted out. The last list I started and got a few items but still had things I hadn't found, I started a new list and ended up taping them together for my next trip. I have a lot of the shopping lists with the magnet on the back and have started using them. But I don't seem to throw them away after my trip to the store because I never find everything. So I keep adding to it and even writing on the back. It's funny, you'd think my life would be more organized with all the lists I make. If I ever fully complete a list I'll probably have a little bonfire.🔥 Someday I would love to go to a Dollar Tree with you. 💖 You find the greatest things and I get so jealous. I watched one lady go to a Top Shelf (I think that's what it's called). Basically it's a higher level Dollar Tree. Same company but more than the dollar items. They introduced the store in Tennessee exclusively to see how it does. It's definitely a step up from your everyday Dollar Tree. The store looks so spacious and although not everything's a dollar, the prices are still low. If it's successful and spans out across the country, this could definitely give Walmart a run for it's money. I think you've also done videos at Dollarama? That looks like a great place to go too. Sadly none in my area 😞, like several other stores I see in videos. But I still watch to see what's out there. These videos are so helpful now with Covid around. It's like a preview to a mysterious world that we may someday visit. Keep recording and I'll keep watching! I’ve been wearing the same pair of diamond brand eyelashes for the last month. I just take the glue off after each use and they’re good to go for the next day. Just know that they are quite long... but I like it that way😉

Hello from Grande Prairie, AB. Yes, our prices have gone up to$1.50 on some items so far. Apparently all Canadian stores will be increasing the price. Now I'm watching the items more closely as some items should NOT be 1.50....maybe 2 for $1.50....🤔 Love watching your walkthroughs. I wish you'd spend more time panning EVERYTHING. 😂 HAHA. Wow, my stores don't have most of these Easter items! Not sure if they just sold out quickly or they just never got the items. My stores have all increased the paint to $1.50 - one had the increase since early January.
@@VanessaVendetti And last week, at one store, the paint scanned at $1.25 at the cash register even though they had the $1.50 sticker. And at another store, they did charge the $1.25.
We never get the baking items you get🥲 I wonder if the USA even gets them or is it just a Canadian thing? Lots of great finds-I’ve given up on the Easter signs I want. We never get the plush gnomes or the signs.
I've noticed, at least at my locations, they have some really cute assortments of regular pencils.... Not the mechanical kind, but the kind you sharpen. All different patterns, really cute prints, I believe they are in packs of either 12 or 15. Just wish I had more of a use for them cause I'd buy every set they carry/come out with lol.... But, with my school/profession I'm going into, they really like for us to only use pens with tests being the exception.... What do you do?! Lol
Sometimes I have found myself gravitating towards those cute printed pencils as well - I have the set with the little foxes and animal prints on display in my craft room just because they are adorable and the colours are so pretty!
The best thing about DT is that everything is a DOLLAR. How can paint be 1.50? Dollar general, 99 cent stores and dollarama have more expensive items. Paints are cheaper at Walmart anyway. Your DT looks very well stocked. I go to 4 different ones and they don't have half that much.

The best thing about DT is that everything is a DOLLAR. How can paint be 1.50? Dollar general, 99 cent stores and dollarama have more expensive items. Paints are cheaper at Walmart anyway. Your DT looks very well stocked. I go to 4 different ones and they don't have half that much.
