I've always admired the gnomes, and especially Mekkatorque. Dude does not ask for aid with the trogg invasion because the plague is a more pressing concern, does not ask for help in reclaiming Gnomeregan when it gets irradiated because it is more important the alliance as a whole is allowed time to rebuild after the third war, instead vowing to return at a later date, and then goes on to build a bunch of amazing construction and infrastructure inventions to help the rebuilding. That is pragmatic and altruistic leadership.
Another thing with gnomes is that they are small and mounts appear to go faster with them since they have faster animations to catch up on the size/speed, but it's just an illusion
It's always scary getting attacked by a literal child wielding 2 magical sticks angrily charging at you with the intent to rip your flesh piece by piece and make sure your awake during the entire thing.
Even though the presentation was not conclusive as to "why should you play a gnome" it had a lot of amusement contained in it...i.e., the gnome names generator, and Raggtag's incredibly colorful speech were high points for me! This was lots of fun!

Christian Finnish Frostiis I keep hearing "Kristus" - "Christ" in finnish in the minus sound effect. I must admit that i have played vanilla WoW PVP with a female forsaken warrior and after weeks of grinding lost my self control when a gnome warrior killed me and runned around my body in Alterac Valley... i could not take it, in my rage i stabbed my screen with my keyboard and broke the screen. Not inteded, i was trying to not smash the keyboard into the floor to pieces and chose to stab my screen but i tried to do it gently :S I had to change my flat screent to seriously old screen that was huge, still i had a backup screen :S

I don't mind gnomes. I'd rather play as a gnome than vulpera. I like the design of vulpera, but I just don't feel like they fit into the horde. Maybe even wow as a whole. Gnomes have been a part of wow history forever
