@@sabeiamahmood3841 not really because either way there's a reason for the audience being left in dark when it comes to storyline events that haven't been yet revealed because since dragons rising started they always seem to circle around to other previous points and while Jay has appeared on and off it doesn't change the fact that the merge and all these either pre merge flashbacks are vital to the story especially when it comes to the team because as it stands the audience has an understanding of where everyone landed except Jay because while shattered jay said he woke up at the administration there's something they know that the audience doesn't because again we have either explanations or parshal explanations to where Lloyd and Kai and nya and Zane and Cole ended up but whereas Jay it's different because everyone except Jay was on the bounty and wherever Jay's mech landed is what needs to be found because similar to season eleven there could be a small chance Jay left a recording as he went down before he lost his memory because at the end of the day the original ninja have been through a lot and yet Jay in dragon's rising is resurfacing on and off to the point where five ninja have been close to seeing him between end of season one and towards the end of season 2 part 1 but the tournament itself they all know he's not himself because of his amnesia and wherever season three starts it's clear that it's going to be a while before the team is whole again
Fr. Jay was the most hyped part of part 2 and they let us all down. The writers must seriously dislike Jay and it shows. Had the chance to do so much with him that has never before been seen and humbled it big time
this includes spoilers I think Jay and that Snake Guy should have basically switched places. The snake dude won his battle against one of the ninja and jay lost. this gave jay less screen time than deserved. in my opinion jay should have defeated nya, while cole defeats the snake guy.

Well, not very big, but he will play a much bigger part in S3 if the pattern so far stays consistent. S1P1 - Nothing about Jay. S1P2/S2P1 - Tidbits of jay, his story set up. S2P2 - Jay gets a serviceable amount of screen time similar to cole in S1P1, The story progresses reasonably well and the next part of his story is set up. and so in S3P1 and S3P2, We should be getting even more Jay screen time. Not "he is a crucial aspect of the story of this season" but something along the lines of "He appears somewhat significantly in multiple episodes and we start to get into the juicy parts of his story"
There wasn't enough time. The season already set itself upt to be what it's supposed to be and they can't just throw that away for Jay. You gotta admit, the writers are juggling A LOT of characters and their stories in this season and they're doing it flawlessly. Kai's exile Lloyd's trauma and being a master Nya's grieving of her brother and partner Arins story about his parents and his slow betrayal of the ninja Sora's relationship with what's her name Wyldfyre's relationship with Roby and her grieving of Kai Even Cole and the hints of his mother's story and his relationship with master Wu, which is brought back from the Oni trilogy, And every other character has a story and within only 10 episodes, the series is doing a perfect job of handling. There's no time for Jay

Yes, I think Nya had a Jay-amnesia. Till the battle she mentioned him 3 times so far: S1p1: Back then when reuniting with Lloyd after the merge she asks him if he knows where he is. S1p2: Nothing! S2p1: Only because of that vision during that part. S2p2: When she sees Jay walk away. If Jay and Nya would have beeb swapped in DR Jay would totally never stop till he finds Nya. "Save the world? Sure, that is what I'm doing - because NYA is my world!!!"
Maybe Nya will tell Jay she loves him when Jay remembers. She could finally do it. She did it with Jay, who doesn't remember her, so she should have done it with Jay, who we watched from the pilot episodes to Crystalized.
We really need a flashback on what’s going on with Jay. Don’t they realize that it’s been a while since we’ve seen Jay and Nya have a tender moment, other than just the flashback and the quest book? I mean, seriously! For almost two years, Jay has only been on screen for less than ten minutes!!
I just finished the new season, and I was so hyped to see Jay, but man, does it feel like they are pushing him aside? I am hyped for the future of Dragons Rising and Jay, but the best way to describe my opinion on this is really awesome and rushed at the same time. I also want to say that, for my first watch, I would give this season an 8.5/10. Everything with Arin and Ras was incredible; Jaya was awesome; and I really enjoyed Wyldfire's story. The things I didn't like, however, were the fact that even though Bleckt was cheating, Zane, Cole, and a bunch of other elemental masters looked like chumps. I love the new characters in the main cast, but I hope they don't continue to treat the OG cast as second fiddle. Zane did nothing! It just feels like sometimes they are using the OG cast only as stepping stones to push the new characters. I love the new characters, but not at the expense of the others. I am going to rewatch the season again in October when it officially comes out, but now I can't wait for season 3.😅

Honestly part 2 was extremely dissappointing for me, S4 was way better. Jay was by far the most hyped part of the season and they wasted the potential that they had for an amazing storyline by only having him for one episode. Everything was also so predictable, they literally did the same thing 3 times, have 2 ninja fight 1 loses, 1 wins and the other elemental masters barely even felt like actual characters unlike in S4
Either the writers are giving us the slowest burn imaginable or they actually hate Jay and desperately want to write him out but also don’t want to anger the fans. And now I’m leaning towards the latter.

According to Ras, this is what he told Jay. Basically Jay was a strong worrier that served Ras prior to the merge but lost his memory IN the merge and brought him “back” to the Wolfclan… that’s how he met Jay
What's up with Doc and Jay's Management? Although during the part of the battle we felt Nya's weight, I felt very generic for Jay, I would have preferred this battle at the end but I hope that in Season 3 they improve that.

I was so mad at ep14 because of his short time to shine and how he left. Was expectations on bigger build up to his appearance, more schemes (around him) and more fights. That made me so disappointed, i didn't want to watch other eps. But, other episodes are actually great, especially what they're doing with Arin's personality. i can understand his motivation. And Kai. They make with his small appears some interesting stuff. A sister-brother moment. Final battle was great itself. Cole's mom mentioned. New character, Arin's old friend Frack has so great writing for a non main character. By how good other 6 eps was, they give me time to think, why episode 14 is not great, because i still think ep 14 is kind of mid and rushed, but maybe that's the point. We expected something great and big from Jay, to ignore the fact of him losing his memories. That episode was another built up to his character. Only for now to hate the ninjas.(even tho they could have made it better, with him having more screentime.) To have connection with them. He losses in the first battle, by people who Ras get him against to, plus by his thoughts nya tried to manipulate his to win. +he used soul breaking wolf mask. But he's not strong enough (for now). He is not on administration anymore, Ras kicked him out, he has no place to go, what makes him hate ninjas even more (maybe Ras, idk). That changes his motives and his actions. Now we don't know what to expect from him. Did his relationship with Nya and others rushed? For sure. If he's weak for now? Yes. (Ether he didn't train much(not enough time), or Ras expected bigger skills from him) Did i wanted Jay to have big character moment? Ofc i wanted him to have serious role in s2 with more flashbacks and fights, but if they make him to not be here long for big build up on s3, then we'll see if it's worth waiting, or is they just hate Jay's character in general ¯\_(:/)_/¯ (They're clearly can write characters. We're seeing it through others in dr seasons.)

I REALLY don't like how this season ended. Jay leaves not only still with no memory, but with a hatred of Nya. And Arin leaves with a hatred of the ninja, and joins Ras' cause. It is INFURIATING that we have to wait until next season for all of this to get fixed, if it can be.

Jay explains how he sided when fighting nya- And Jay was used to get the ninja to leave too. Ras wanted Jay to have the ninja exit the tournament, kinda makes us feel like nya since we ALSO want to see more Jay.

I might just be nit picky but when I was watching some of the episodes and when I saw how many elemental masters there were I was disappointed. Back then having an elemental power meant something being part of a select few. Now it looks like half the population are masters. For loads of them it’s now underwhelming.
What he had was brilliant I have to say. Especially him using shatterspin. Maybe that hasn't had a visible effect yet, but I feel like it's something that will be explored. Jay in Dragons Rising has been vey intriguing so far and I'm excited to see his future. Maybe he'll be my favourite ninja again for a while. I don't miss much where he is concerned.

I think it would’ve made Jay a more over arching villain if he won a few matches beforehand and the fight Jay vs Nya was near the end as like to the end of a climatic fight, as he got trained by Lord Ras to WIN yet lost his very first match

Season 2 Part 2 was the most predictable thing ever like, everyone predicted Kai to return, Arin betraying the team, and even Jay coming back serving Ras, it had so much more potential.
I liked what I saw, but I am disappointed thats all their is. Rather underwhelming. I think Jay should have beaten one or two people first, then faced Nya to get more screen time and to give us the chance to get really hyped up for the duel between Jay and Nya. If we had already seen him be merciless to others, it make the stakes that much higher for Nya.

We really need a flashback on what’s going on with Jay. Don’t they realize that it’s been a while since we’ve seen Jay and Nya have a tender moment, other than just the flashback and the quest book? I mean, seriously! For almost two years, Jay has only been on screen for less than ten minutes!!

I just finished the new season, and I was so hyped to see Jay, but man, does it feel like they are pushing him aside? I am hyped for the future of Dragons Rising and Jay, but the best way to describe my opinion on this is really awesome and rushed at the same time. I also want to say that, for my first watch, I would give this season an 8.5/10. Everything with Arin and Ras was incredible; Jaya was awesome; and I really enjoyed Wyldfire's story. The things I didn't like, however, were the fact that even though Bleckt was cheating, Zane, Cole, and a bunch of other elemental masters looked like chumps. I love the new characters in the main cast, but I hope they don't continue to treat the OG cast as second fiddle. Zane did nothing! It just feels like sometimes they are using the OG cast only as stepping stones to push the new characters. I love the new characters, but not at the expense of the others. I am going to rewatch the season again in October when it officially comes out, but now I can't wait for season 3.😅

Honestly part 2 was extremely dissappointing for me, S4 was way better. Jay was by far the most hyped part of the season and they wasted the potential that they had for an amazing storyline by only having him for one episode. Everything was also so predictable, they literally did the same thing 3 times, have 2 ninja fight 1 loses, 1 wins and the other elemental masters barely even felt like actual characters unlike in S4

The writers suck. Jay has always been my favourite ninja and I'm tired of them wasting him. There's NO WAY Nya should have beat him in this situation. And one single episode?!? An absolute waste of what should have been the highlight of this season. 2025 better pick up the slack!

That whole episode was probably the worst but I gotta say i would love the episode more if they actually did it right and build it up

As much as I enjoyed the character of Jay in the tournament, I found it somewhat disconcerting that he suddenly appeared on Ras's side. Perhaps this is a plot development for the third season.
According to Ras, this is what he told Jay. Basically Jay was a strong worrier that served Ras prior to the merge but lost his memory IN the merge and brought him “back” to the Wolfclan… that’s how he met Jay
What's up with Doc and Jay's Management? Although during the part of the battle we felt Nya's weight, I felt very generic for Jay, I would have preferred this battle at the end but I hope that in Season 3 they improve that.

They did my boy no mercy
I was so mad at ep14 because of his short time to shine and how he left. Was expectations on bigger build up to his appearance, more schemes (around him) and more fights. That made me so disappointed, i didn't want to watch other eps. But, other episodes are actually great, especially what they're doing with Arin's personality. i can understand his motivation. And Kai. They make with his small appears some interesting stuff. A sister-brother moment. Final battle was great itself. Cole's mom mentioned. New character, Arin's old friend Frack has so great writing for a non main character.
By how good other 6 eps was, they give me time to think, why episode 14 is not great, because i still think ep 14 is kind of mid and rushed, but maybe that's the point. We expected something great and big from Jay, to ignore the fact of him losing his memories.
That episode was another built up to his character. Only for now to hate the ninjas.(even tho they could have made it better, with him having more screentime.) To have connection with them. He losses in the first battle, by people who Ras get him against to, plus by his thoughts nya tried to manipulate his to win. +he used soul breaking wolf mask. But he's not strong enough (for now).
He is not on administration anymore, Ras kicked him out, he has no place to go, what makes him hate ninjas even more (maybe Ras, idk). That changes his motives and his actions. Now we don't know what to expect from him.
Did his relationship with Nya and others rushed? For sure. If he's weak for now? Yes. (Ether he didn't train much(not enough time), or Ras expected bigger skills from him) Did i wanted Jay to have big character moment?
Ofc i wanted him to have serious role in s2 with more flashbacks and fights, but if they make him to not be here long for big build up on s3, then we'll see if it's worth waiting, or is they just hate Jay's character in general ¯\_(:/)_/¯

I am a huge Jay fan and I was trying to not let my biases get to me but after this video I’m just not into it anymore. They’ve been going so slow with Jay and building up something awesome only to rush all the parts that actually matter? Are you kidding? Did they seriously not answer how Jay ended up at the tournament with Ras? You can’t just skip something that important after so much hype, it’s not explaining why Wyldfyre got a new haircut. People have been begging for more Jay and for it to turn out like THIS is so disappointing. I literally only watched this show to see where they would take Jay and now I’m disappointed and I’m worried for season 3. If they rush his resolution with Nya I’m gonna be pissed.
I REALLY don't like how this season ended. Jay leaves not only still with no memory, but with a hatred of Nya. And Arin leaves with a hatred of the ninja, and joins Ras' cause. It is INFURIATING that we have to wait until next season for all of this to get fixed, if it can be.

I was satisfied with Jay’s appearance in season 2 part 2 even though he is only in episodes 14 & 15. It would be really nice to get a backstory episode explaining what happened to him after the merge although the writers are probably building towards something for Jay in season 3.

I might just be nit picky but when I was watching some of the episodes and when I saw how many elemental masters there were I was disappointed. Back then having an elemental power meant something being part of a select few. Now it looks like half the population are masters. For loads of them it’s now underwhelming.

What he had was brilliant I have to say. Especially him using shatterspin. Maybe that hasn't had a visible effect yet, but I feel like it's something that will be explored. Jay in Dragons Rising has been vey intriguing so far and I'm excited to see his future. Maybe he'll be my favourite ninja again for a while. I don't miss much where he is concerned.

I liked what I saw, but I am disappointed thats all their is. Rather underwhelming. I think Jay should have beaten one or two people first, then faced Nya to get more screen time and to give us the chance to get really hyped up for the duel between Jay and Nya. If we had already seen him be merciless to others, it make the stakes that much higher for Nya.
And it would make him more mysterious, seeing a cloaked figure with lightning go absolutely all out on others would definitely impact the ninja
