This is like the 7th time in this series where Superman was almost beat only to get bailed out by the rest of the Justice League. If people like Flash and Shazam had defected earlier on Superman would 100 percent be dead
That's how it should've been, it got dragged out way too long. None of the characters were believable in their rationalizations by the end of it.

Which was reasonable. Despite his powers there are a lot of people who have solid ways to take him out if he becomes evil. He was bailed a lot of times from death/defeat by someone else even when he was good.
Considering Supes can kill every single one of them, it's total bullshit, he took him 5 years to win.
Hawkman should have finished him quickly, without the kryptonian mace, he got wrecked real fast.

The biggest problem with this fight is that, Superman wouldn't have recovered that fast, and anyone who truly knows Katar Hol, realizes Hawkman can't be killed that easily. Clark would have died. He would have had kryptonite slivers buried in his head.
But these is a parallel universe. Main universe logic don't work here. What you said for hawkman goes double for Martian manhunter Shazam and doomsday.

@@everywherecat9824 1.hawkman didn't create a krytonite mace he fused krytonite with his nth metal mace 2. cutting the skin is one thing but cutting a bone is whole new meaing even wonderwoman had to fuse her atom splitting (magic)sword with krytonite in dc decreased to cut to superman properly because her universe sharpest + greek godess magic sword + Wonderwoman strength can't do deep bone cuts that enough to kill superman and + woderwoman strength is far superior than hawkman.
Smell of the game made this more fun.
The power scaling is so inconsistent. Solid Kryptonite completely and totally negates his power when in contact with his skin. That’s why kryptonite blades cut him the same way a normal would a human. If the mace was merely coated in kryptonite, it should have caused brain damage. If it was solid kryptonite, that should have knocked his brains out.

You know in injustice many people were expecting to see how strong superman really is with him not holding back , but in reality we just saw how vulnerable he really is. In what many ways can superman be taken down.

Wow! Wonder Woman is one hell of a cold monster in this series. She literally stands there and enables Superman and does nothing. What happened to all those Amazon principles? They really need to recon this and show she is either an evil imposter or mind controlled by some evil entity. It seems she is the number one influencer pushing Superman ever farther over the cliff. I'd elect Ares but he wants conflict and Superman has eliminated conflict.
It's a long running theory among the fans that she somehow was part of Joker's plot in killing Lois. It makes sense given how she tries to slip into her side of the bed with Kal, all the while aiding Clark's pathos of vengeance.
In the Injustice timeline, Steve Trevor was a nazi spy pretending to be an American soldier; she killed him for killing an Amazon and has a much harsher outlook on humanity because of that

@@garycannon4644 The main allure for me was the way the transformed Superman into a full out tyrant, there’s a huge difference between how he does things in year 1 vs year 5. Sure some stuff could’ve done way better but at the end of the day watching him do all these terrible things knowing he would eventually lose was pretty satisfying.

@@Jenartik His point is that there’s a common occurrence in the Injustice comics where the other justice league/ regime members always save Superman when he’s either beaten or almost killed. It sometimes happens to Batman too, but I think it happens to Sups more in the injustice universe

But yep I guess this is why we don’t see hawk man in the first injustice game, or any of the other regime members like raven and hawk girl in the second.

Injustice superman had a close fight with doomsday and only won against the green lantern corps when he got a yellow power ring and luckily for him his actions were broadcasted in the entire planet and was empowered by the fear of a billion people. And hawkman is pretty strong and had a kryptonite mace. Alfred attacking after superman wasn't fully healed from his fight with atom and black canary attacked superman after he got one shotted by gadet if I remember correctly and black canary had kryptonite with her as well.
Hawkman had Kryptonite, both Alfred and Black Canary had super pills to give them a power boost. Also, Canary had other heroes and the Green Lantern Corps helping her beat up Superman. She didn’t single handedly beat him up. She had help. In Alfred’s case, he took him by surprise and it was after Superman had fought Martian Manhunter and a few other characters before he got to Batman.
@@melvingenao550 In the Injustice comics, Superman expects everyone to see his POV. That he is justified in his actions and that he's right. So, he gives them the benefit of the doubt. He doesn't expect everyone except Batman to double cross him or try and stop him. Even as he's becoming a tyrant, there's still part of that hopeful and trusting Superman in there that thinks the best of others and hopes that they will understand him and sympathize with him, but that all goes away by the mid-point of Year Two. That is when he stops giving a fuck and every threat against him after that is either magic or gods. He wasn't presented as smart in Injustice, but they do present him as a guy who is just WAY too tough for anyone who wasn't a cosmic big shot of some kind.

The Claw of Horus being used in combination with a Kryptonite mace should have spelled a quick victory with either

Grant Morrison will be doing a miniseries called “Superman and the Authority”, which takes place around the same time his son John Kent will take over as Superman for a bit. Idk who’s writing the John Kent Superman stuff, but it won’t be Bendis. He’s still on Justice League, I think.

Writers always make superman stupid, he's supposed to be brilliant, but because they need to make him look somewhat vulnerable, they always make him stupid and in a way arrogant.
Like he doesn;t know he's vlunerable to kryptonite and never takes any precaution to defend himself from it. he'll gather it all up and either throw it into the sun or store it somewhere and just goes, "there, that's all of it, couldn't possibly be anymore out there" like he doesn't have an army of kryptonian robots to help him. can't hear for miles. can't scan the area with his wallhacks every once in awhile. they really have to make him stupid just to have a story.
Kryptonians are super intelligent compared to humans so even if Supes is a dumbass on Krypton.
He should still be on the level of the world renowned scientists. In his earlier comics and even in TAS. It has been shown he is very smart and has detective skills that rival Batman but because plot.

Batman is vengeance and the night! Bruce is the weaker side of that personality but truthfully Batman is like this because this is ALL he does. Batman is all about vengeance and his crusade consumes him. A man with his resources and abilities with the mental drive to do all of this doesn’t surprise me. Batman cares about the league members but he’s no doubt always planning their downfall because his crusade is 1000x more important than they are. Batman has almost no life besides that and I don’t think most respect his mindset. This man will plan your downfall and is dedicated to whatever he can to keep some protocol and overcome you. One of my many dislikes of the series is this even though i really enjoyed the series especially when this is my very first exposure to comics but i have a great idea of how or what everything is in DC. And the goes for the rest of the justice leauge, superman's power scaling ruins DC for me fucking useless justice leauge so sad how do writers not realise there's no point in a team if superman is more powerful than all of them combined and they do the same the live actions movies, comics, TV, animation. at least Injustice did something right, it showed that Wonder Woman is far more dangerous and more powerful than Superman, just like in main canon, IMO Injustice would more interesting, If Diana was the main villain of the story, and Batman and Superman, tried to stop her.
