To be fair I believe this is technically a prequel to the game we have been playing But it also a great place to probably playtest creatures and feature they can potentially add to the game
Unless they add some of the mobs that appear into this in base game, more then likely. People are wanting more base game stuff and the most they get is a mob "vote"
I never really got into Minecraft Dungeons, but if any of these character designs are from that, I like them. If they’re brand new, like the little wooden dart guys, still like them.
Minecraft dungeons was alright but imo its best played if you never played an ARPG before. Its got a 10 in visuals but a 6 in gameplay and depth. Hope this game steps up and has more deeper gameplay.
You can have the most beautiful, CG trailers in the world, but if you're too afraid to show gameplay beyond scenes of NPCs running into each other, it doesn't fill me with confidence. What's different about this game? Why should we be excited? If it's pretty, show us that throughout gameplay.

There's like ten seconds of actual gameplay in this video. But for the record, I hope you're right. I liked Dungeons a moderate amount despite it being Diablo Lite.
When I heard Minecraft legends was going to be a thing, I thought it would be Minecraft dungeons with more of a reformed, smoother combat system with new mobs that make you approach enemies differently and don't just make you run and slash, run and slash. something like the god of war 3. but instead we got another spinoff instead of just continuing the one with more potential
The thing I want from the Minecraft spin-offs, is that they’re just showing what could be in vanilla Minecraft. Not all mobs but the buildings, structure and terrain

I wonder if this is the last decade where the cinematics look way more appealing than the real time graphics? I mean, it had to be built to play on a Switch, so I get it. But that transition to gameplay was quite jarring compared to the beautiful story telling render.

@@Beefaroni_Bert mojang takes forever on there updates and that’s due to them saying that they want to keep a certain vibe and feel in the game. That being said a lot of stuff like making hammers as a weapon or a spear isn’t gonna ruin the game. Adding more monsters like the rolling guys would be more interesting to fight and adding more stuff baby piglins would be better. They won’t add them either they don’t wanna do the effort or it would take too long. It took how many years for them to add something to the neither, they do need to add something to spice it up as a OG player I kinda get bored and want more stuff like what they did in the newest update
While I enjoy pikmin, I kinda wish this was a conventional "top down" RTS with no character controlling everything, it wouldn't change much normally but I'm kinda disappointed they went with the dungeons esq character movement system. If it's like dungeons and we can't customize the character like in conventional minecraft, can we just have a mouse cursor instead of some ugly "nobody" character like 80% of the dungeons skins?
