Wow, you're right, he says "I did kill Keaton". I've seen this film dozens of times and never noticed that. Nice one.
I was like wtf 🤯🤯
I never caught it either, and it is not in the subtitles, either.
I hear "I did see Keaton get shot", wtf are y'all on about?
@@Ason19agree.they should share what they're smoking.
@@Ason19 At 36:05 Verbal really says "I did... I did kill Keaton."
Fun fact: the actor who played Red foot, who said " give it to the GIMP", was the same actor who played Zedd in PULP Fiction who said " bring out the GIMP"....
The only time I've seen someone figure it out faster, it was as a joke. I was watching it with my then-girlfriend right after watching Seven, and she laughed and said "Oh, Kevin Spacey did it." during the opening credits.
So fun fact the lineup was written as a serious scene however the reason it eneded up being funny was because while filming the scene Benicio kept farting on purpose to make everyone laugh. And even after he stopped they couldnt get a shot without one of the guys laughing so they just went with it.
Well you figured this out way too soon. 🤣
Remember when Verbal first went into the police office. You see him sitting and looking all around the office. We learn later he was taking in all the information he needed for his story.
When you said you enjoy unraveling mysteries, I immediately thought of Memento. If you haven't seen that one it will blow your mind. And then you'll watch it again. I saw it twice in the theater, which I am way too frugal to ever do.
Took all of twelve minutes lmao 🤣
brilliant film. saw it back in middle school. loved it immediately.
And that gorgeous soundtrack
I've seen this movie a bunch of times and I've never noticed him saying "I did kill Keaton." when agent Kujan was shouting at him
When they're on the docks, you see Verbal headed towards the pile of ropes, but when they show the closeup that is to make you think he's there, you can't see him through the ropes.
Yeah, it was funny when Elie said, "they cut away before the shot, so maybe Keaton wasn't killed." Then, when the ropes filled the frame, he didn't say anything for that moment, and I saw how his eyes burn the image of the ropes into his memory, just like intended by the director. When the ropes showed up again, the memory then worked so well, and though he suspected Verbal all along, he was convinced that Verbal was hiding behind them.
It's absolutely a rare movie that becomes so much more than the sum of it's parts. Shots, close ups, cuts, score, jumping back and forth. And revealed in the final edit - the unreliable narrator...
Y'all heard it wrong, he was speaking to agent Coolione, say he DID SEE Keaton get shot by Keyser. HE NEVER said "I" shot him, he said he Seen him get shot. Just because you were fooled don't be mad, and try to figure away
to say you weren't. This movie is in history books, Iconic Actors and and Movie Directors said they watched and read the script and we're fooled also, there was no confession.
Hey Elie I see you got around to my favorite movie 🍿 I watched this in the theater when it came out.
'McDonald's hairline'. Haha.
Watch the beginning when he is in the room, you can see him looking at the board and later on he looks at the bottom of the coffee cup.
My favourite movie, absolutely love the story telling.
my second favourite movie of all-time! let's goooooooo
This movie came out my final year of highschool. Loved it immediately. Had to wait ages for it to be released at video stores to get my second viewing.
I saw it 4 times in theatre. It was great to take friends to. Took my Dad to it and was a special bonding moment for me seeing as he died a few months later. And then a year later when it came out on video I probably rented it 18 times for different movie nights with friends.
@@tempsitch5632 Oh wow. It's a special movie to me, so now i'm so intrigued as to how you view it. I still remember before and after the first viewing so vividly.I rented it heaps and dubbed a copy pretty quick. Not sure if it was quite 18. I miss video stores.
I believe the lawyer is really keyser sosa and verbal is his top hitman
2:42 Ain't nothin but a thang.
We know the other "thieves" were real people... as they were all arrested and questioned together by the police at the same time.
One little-known Kevin Spacey movie I recall loving is The Ref, also starring Dennis Leary and the brilliant Judy Davis. Has anyone else ever seen that? Might just be me.
I love that movie It's one of my favorites
Good movie
You are the 2nd person I've ever seen figure it out before the reveal.
There IS NO Keyser Söze, it's another Kobayashi.
*Brother React "captain miller" & ayalaan trailers, I highly Request you*
Can you react to " Chhichhore " Indian Bollywood Movie ❤
Okay what are you psychic or you practice witch craft. Because you have a nack for saying things that end up occurring.
BEWARE THE UNRELIABLE NARRATOR....
Woah, I did a double take at 12:43 , I had the same prediction in the same scene my first time watching this movie!
And like that... He's gone.
