I am working on bidirectional buck- boost converter and i am following this link- www.google.co.in/patents/US5734258 I am generating Inverting and non-inverting PWM signal with dead time between them . boosting the power from V2 to V1 i am able to transfer 300 watt (30V to 52V) but my inductor slightly getting heated up. i have doubt on PWM frequency . should i have to increase frequency . how to calculate require frequency for 1kwatt system .

is it correct to say, that changing the value of R0, will affect the ac voltage the cap sees, but not change the avg value R0 sees?
