Mark superb delve into this module , quirks and all, one question is the pitch from Metropolix quantised as to tunings of Lip Ocillater s Ben Kiaty( Benki) uses LIP as main voice and it has extraordinary sounds, worth checking out, also would using Clep Diaz add anything in patch????? I’d like tutorials from you twice a week but understand not always possible, just soak up all your output, Excellenti 👍🆒🎶🔱🕸⚡️😎👁🌟🌟🌟
Yes Metropolix is quantised so in theory you could set the left main osc A to root C and pull off the knob! In practice though, you can switch to osc B as main and use A as the FM modifier so it’s literally play about and see what sounds good. And I’d love to be able to commit to two videos a week so if you guys have ideas or things you want to see, let me know
You based in the uk? If you are ever in or around lincolnshire we have a state of the art studio with about £200K of modular synth in eurorack , 5u and buchla and if you wanted to play around we are always happy for creatives to just jam - just give me some notice.
@@stephenjenkins1323 hi, yes I’m in the Uk near Sandbach but have relatives in Lincolnshire so over that way a fair bit. That’s such a generous offer and I’d love see your set up and meet some like minded people. I’ve added my email address in my about section so PM me and I’d love to catch up some time.
Embarrassingly the Acid Rain Constellation. The worlds most expensive clock as not using it for anything else in this patch lol. Check out one of my recent videos where I walk through the full clock/reset if you want to see it
You can get a much better handle on what the Loquelic is doing using the plugin version. Obviously buying a digital version of an expensive hardware synth you already own is not ideal, but it's a good way to get familiar with how the different options shape the sound and how the two oscillators interact with eachother.
Sometimes YT will suggest a more purchasable song that sounds like what I'm watching from a less-known artist. It can be quite amusing (or irritating) sometimes, as Google is desperately trying to crank that money machine. For this video, it gave me Horse Power by The Chemical Brothers. I have to admit, it didn't screw up very bad this time. The similarity is detectable.
A very influential musical style from my younger years and The Prodigy before that. My modular videos always seem to gravitate that way although I’ve started doing more melodic stuff recently too. Thanks for watching and great UA-cam name!
Sounds great! Nice video
Thanks for the feedback. Need to get back comfortable with the Loquelic.
Thanx, i needed this to boost my confidence with this one. NE LIP Services Inc.✌️
It’s really hard to figure out the best ways to use it, until you suddenly find something awesome!
@@markbooth long env sweeps, cycling, changing analog delay times and the universe gets ripped from it moorings

You really need a buffered mult for v/oct. A passive mult will throw the tuning off (gets a little flatter with each output you add).
Thanks the advice. Hopefully getting one to start filling the 1U top! I have a 2hp one but don’t like the fiddly form factor
I’ve added a buffered mult for Loquelic Part 2 coming soon!
Nice exploration 👍🏼
Thanks! Will be going full on Acid on some walkthroughs soon.

Great mark
Cheers! Loquelic is an absolute animal so creating a video on it is a test in itself. Thanks for watching!

That sounds really helpful. I’ve also borrowed a Mordax Data recently so maybe that will help visualise things.

Not sure what it is, but your mouth noise comes through very loud and it's a bit too gross to concentrate on what you're saying.
