Hi Annie-I always look forward to your uploads. Life is very difficult for me and I find your videos so very calming and comforting. I've never used a Kindle, I am not keen on looking at screens for a lot of reading as have poor eyes. The good thing about a Kindle is you can have hundreds of books without taking up physical space. However with physical books, you cant beat the whole experience of finding books (for me second hand/charity/book swaps) the feel of them and of course the amount available. Old and vintage books that are not available on Kindle. I am a big book lover and have far too many books, they are all over the place and I wish I could get back to having them all shelved again. I have many long term health problems so find pacing and getting things done very difficult. I love your library you have in your home, but if you are moving soon I hope you can have a similar set up. Thanks for being here and sharing your love of reading. I've not read any of the books you've read here, I have book on all genres, but never really got into Fantasy, but I know its got popular.
Hello Gemma.. oh my goodness, this made my heart squeeze and truly put a smile on my face. I completely agree with you in respect of the differences between Kindle reading and having a physical book. I must admit I similarly adore the physical read however, having a screen that you can enlarge the font and turn down the brightness so it somewhat acts like a page is one of my favourite parts of the kindle reading experience. I’m so glad you are a fellow book lover and truly don’t believe there is such a thing as far too many books, being surrounded by books being all over the place sounds like a dream to me! (A true goal of mine). My heart truly hurts for you that life is difficult and I truly hope you believe me when I say I’m wishing you the very best and sending you the biggest hug. In terms of my move, i’m really hopeful to have a similar set up to this one too, this is truly a safe space for me and if I can give just one other person a safe space to come too then that makes me smile and my heart happy.. so i’m so thankful to you for commenting and taking time to be here.
