Tom should dye his beard with Noodler’s Black to keep it color stable; otherwise, the juices from a wet burrito (particularly if from a Argentinian restaurant) may cause it to run. Thanks for the great content!
Ironically this is the first pen I've bought in over 2 years. Pretty happy with mine wrote much better than my nepo straight out of the box no issues at all, thanks Roy! PS I don't need another id rather another person get it. Also I still crack up from a much older video when you said a noodlers pen smelled like a zombies diaper 😂
This guy is hilarious, with his pot shots on the smell of noodler pens every chance he has. I’m no fan of the smell, but I also don’t really think about it that often either.
Wish it came in my favourite dark colour, that of Tom's awesome beard, or at least in the colour of a medium-rare stake, which is coincidentally my favourite food.
I would love to draw a picture of Tom, with his beautiful beard with Noodler's El Lawrence as he eats dong po pork. One of the best things about the Triple Tail is that it takes the Noodler's 308 reusable SCREW-IN cartridges, best filling method ever.
PBR is back! Glad to see you back on UA-cam. I myself don't care much for Noodler's pens or inks Tried a few and had nothing but disappointments, especially with inks bleeding through almost every kind of paper (except for 300 g super tough arts and crafts paper).
Tom's beard is a comma that separates pens and inks and i read the lists of amazing offering of goldspot while eating a slice o real italian pizza, mozzarella, tomatoes, olive oil and a pinch of oregano with three leaves of basil!
Hey. My favorite food is beef stew, clichè maybe, however it would be less likely to get stuck in Tom’s beard than mine, however my favorite ink of choice, pilot Iroshizuku would attempt to stain both. Never consume fountain pen ink. :)
CONTEST ENTRY: I like to write with "Pelikan Edelstein - Aventurine" in my "Penbbs-355(snow,flex)" right after I eat my favorite food, French Toast and afterwards I sit back with a full belly and think about how I can shape my beard to look like Tom's beard from "GoldSpot Pens" as he always looks cool in their youtube videos.
Hi Roy, Glad to see you are still around. I just found my favorite flex nib pen, the OSPREY MADISON EEF FLEX nib , 24.00 on amazon. Made in India with the cutouts on the side of the nib and it takes very little pressure to flex the nib. Thanks for the excellent review. Have a great day.
My favorite ink, Organic Studios Aldous Huxley, doesn’t come close to overtaking my favorite food, my wife’s Caldo Tlalpeño, but it does approximate my opinion of Tom’s beard.
It may be anathema on a Noodler's review to say my favorite ink is Iroshizuku Yama budo, used for journaling while eating a raspberry custard tart and wondering how much time Tom spends keeping that beard so neat!
While watching a Goldspot video, I marveled over the uniqueness of Tom’s beard, and realized that the smoke ring on my 20 hours smoked brisket looked a whole heck of a lot like the wonderful Diamine Red Dragon ink, which of course could be used to successfully tint Tom’s beard a wonderful shade.
While eating homemade pasta and meatballs, a small piece of parsley (the color of Sailor's Tokiwa-matsu) dropped from the fork and landed in the middle of Tom's glorious beard, tainting his swath of manliness.
On my day off, I'd love to find myself watching a PENBOYROY video while eating some pizza, my favorite food, writing with a pen filled with Noodler's Dark Matter, my favorite ink, and pondering the depth of color in Tom's beard.
I'm glad that Noodler's Ink exists. I think the fountain pen world would be a poorer and less interesting place without Nathan and his eccentricities. Thanks for the video. Cheers!
A nice afternoon activity is going out for a walk to admire the Black Swan in English Roses, with my favorite snack of mom's chocolate chip cookies with milk, but I always bring some napkins so I won't soil my stubble, which is modeled after Tom's spiffy chin rug.
Tom’s well-trimmed beard makes him look mature but not old, though older than the beautiful Comté cheese aged 24 months that I relish eating to alleviate the pain of marking papers - the lovely Momiji red does help too, perhaps the new Noodler will as well ;) Keep up the good work, I love the energy of your reviews!
My favorite food is a rare ribeye steak, especially when it has oozing red juice that reminds of my favorite ink: the Diamine Red Dragon, and I think it’s fair to assume Tom’s magnificent beard will also enjoy eating a ribeye steak.
My personal preference is for Robert Oster Deep Sea, it has minimal feathering, so on paper it has nice sharp edges, much akin to the sharp edges of Tom's beard, or perhaps the edges of a piece of sashimi cut by a skilled chef.
PEN BOY ROY Thanks again for an awesome review!!! You back and already pumping out those videos. (I enjoy them all the good the bad the ugly even let’s talk coin) lol 😂 🤣😂 Most of the pens you review I try to get, why because your channel infected me with the fountain pen virus 🦠. As I eat lasagna, I often contemplate the great mysteries of life; the greatest of which is: Could I hold Tom down long enough to dye his majestic beard with Monteverde Fireopal using Barbie’s comb?
Why am I thinking about Tom's beard while eating sabich and writing a letter in Iroshizuku Kon-Peki? Also, what is the music in your intro and outro? Shazam has no idea.
If they have addressed the smell issue, it can be a good choice. I personally did not like the Ahab smell. Hardly used it. Yesterday, watched Tom's latest video on best pens while eating OpLa, his beard was trimmed than the usual, and looked like a dry Lamy T52 ink on my Rhodia paper. 😁😁
Damn real on the "Butthole smelling Pen" point. Main reason I buried my Ahab in the backyard. The constant required daily fiddling to get it to work was the final straw...
@@michellestephenson1680 okay... here goes. The converter of this pen is by far the sweetest smelling substance on the planet. it in no way smells like zombie vomit.
When Tom wears blurple, his beard takes on the beautiful and various tones of brown/grey/purple as seen in J. Herbin Cacao du Brésil and in the deep dark sauce of jjajangmyeon. (As an aside: Damn. I'd forgotten how much I like Kiri-same. I might have to pick up a bottle.)
while having a delicious taco earlier today, I’ve been thinking on how Tom’s beard would look like if he dyed it with my favourite ink Diamine havasu turquoise
Tom’s glorious beard brings fond memories of when i was a boy sitting under the hair like branches of the mango tree, enjoying its fruit while being surrounded by nothing but clear, Pilot Iroshizuku Kon-Peki colored, sky.
I am sitting here munching a bacon and tomato sandwich while penning a letter to Tom using Noodlers Midnight Blue, telling him how sporty it makes him look. Also, thanks for the review of this pen. I found it pretty even handed and I am considering it in a potential purchase of the Triple Tail.
My favorite ink is Waterman Mysterious Blue, my favorite food is pizza, and Tom's Beard is his wife's favorite feature, so who am I to say anything negative?
I love the sight of a full plate of sausage, potato's, and gravy almost as much as I like using Noodler's 54th Massachusetts and even more than I like Tom's terrific beard.
While Tom's beard is already of splendor beyond comprehension, I could not help but notice that it would be nicely complemented by the green foam atop a matcha latte made with unsweetened almond milk, lakanto monk fruit sweetener, and McCormick's green food coloring. Yes, a beverage does count as food, and McCormick's green food coloring is an ink. Anyone who disagrees can fight me in a favorite ink drinking contest. The first one to die from ink poisoning loses.
I love Tom's beard as much as I love the look and smell of KWZ Cappuccino Brown ink drying while eating blueberry pancakes. Seriously, I'm Dutch and therefore excused in absolutely loving pancakes!
The Majestic Blue color of Tom’s eye graces the beautiful prosciutto and fig pizza before he digs in at 3am, as he is delirious from drawing all night! (Diamine Majestic Blue) Thanks love the channel!!!
Tom and I were eating chicken wings the other day because they were my favorite food and he loves me when I noticed he was managing to avoid getting sauce in his perfectly shaped and groomed beard. I asked him how he kept the sauce out of all those right angles and he said he would write down his instructions, and began to do so in diamine majestic blue ink because it was my favorite.
My favorite in is Noodler's Widow Makes, reminds me of the pepperoni pizza that tom ate on my dream (weird dream, i know), sad part about it is that in my dream a bunch of sauce got on Tom's beautiful beard.
I have a hard time picking favorites but I'll probably go with Lamy's Azurite and Tiramisu. Also, I'm married to a bearded man and so you can guess what I think about Tom's beard. ;)

Tom's photo on the Goldspot website is in black-and-white, which, good-looking as it might be, means it could be hair, or it could be he spilled carbonnade flamande, or perhaps someone vandalising the picture with Noodler's Navy.
I went to Goldspot’s website to check out Tom’s nice beard but his beard convinced me not to eat sushi for a year, and order a lifetime worth of Sailor Studio 123 instead; what a nice beard.

The southward migratory pattern of Tom's hair distracted Robert Jordan, but the sausage pizza that the mujer of Pablo made was fine and true and good and he would soon enjoy it and write about in the Fire and Ice ink of Robert Oster.
As Roy’s deadline neared, Tom’s excellent beard, the chinscape that cheered all of pendom (it’s true), rocked a colour that veered from its usual hue - Krishna Paakezah (blue) - while tuna steak, seared and lovingly smeared with the ink that premiered at the end of last year, looks (and tastes) weird, which doesn’t seem fair, but what can you do?
Eating rice black beans, yuca with mojo, lechon, and attempting to stain Toms neatly shaped beard with Baystate Blue convincing him to give me freebie.
What happened to Tom’s voluptuous beard when he ate spaghetti is truly the heart of darkness.
Tom should dye his beard with Noodler’s Black to keep it color stable; otherwise, the juices from a wet burrito (particularly if from a Argentinian restaurant) may cause it to run.
Thanks for the great content!
I ordered a platter of sashimi shaped in the style of Tom's beard and signed the check with my Leonardo Blue.
I wonder if Tom would let me dye his wonderful beard with Robert Osters River of Fire while I eat a Rib Eye steak.
By Tom’s luxuriant beard, I would walk barefoot across broken Wheat Thins to have a chance to load up this pen with Diamine Smoke on the Water.
I love to admire Tom's amazing beard while eating sushi and watching the sky turn into a beautiful apache sunset.
