Thats exactly what weve had for the last 5 years or so and ever since then phones have been getting too big imo. I have the s23 ultra and i wish it wasnt as big and heavy as its akward to even put the phone away in my pocket. The battery is well good enough so if they would make the phone slimmer and lighter and keep the battery life then id much preffer that over even bigger and heavier.

The minute incremental "improvements" are just geared towards increasing profit margins before the end of the financial year, which necessitates taking the piss out of us consumers, every damned time. Same goes for Apple. I'm typing this on my S21 ultra model, btw. Still loving it. I suggest everyone save up, go buy a decent camera, instead, and a good enough laptop/tablet, if need be. Make a stand. With your wallets. All these companies need to be sent a message, loud and clear.
There are people who will want to upgrade , if you don't see a benefit, then it's obviously not aimed at you. If people want to upgrade , it's their money to do what they want with it.

Samsung needs to ditch Google and have the One UI as its own os. They have their own app store and mobile payment system. Then add RCS support to their text messaging app instead of abandoning it.

I hate to say it but I'm not thrilled with the next batch of Galaxy phones. I didn't like the S24 series and it looks like I'll be skipping the s25 as well. Probably just keep my S23U until it gets too buggy to use anymore and ditch Samsung altogether. Software bugs with each major update, zero help from tech support, and the only way to get rid of all the BS is to do a factory reset. Then it's like a new phone again. But honestly doing that every 6 months is crap.

Not much change I might not upgrade. The main thing I'm interested in is cameras. I see that they are minimally changing cameras with ultra wide and the rest will be EXACTLY the same. They seem to be going the Apple route with very minor changes now.

Official magnetic cases, AKA not supporting Qi2 charging natively, because the magnets interfere with the S Pen is a HUGE disappointment. That means all the accessories that support Qi2 have the potential to interfere with other things. Samsung needs to get the sh*t together, figure this out, and give us Qi2 native support. Magnetic accessories, even if not charging, are where the game is at.

What's the point of Qi2 charging if it's still 15w with no built-in magnets? Samsung can offer all the bright weird colors they want as long as they keep black as an option.....and 2 black options is even better! I'll probably keep my S24 Ultra for another year unless the Fold 7 really blows me away which will be my first foldable.

What is the benifts of having Bixby and your battery is at 0% in an emergyncy situation where you can't do a call .
