i was super worried for stan’s cramp and arjen’s bicep since they said they barely trained for this, but then i remembered, these are the people that literally break some of the craziest world records and did some crazy challenges like the most pullup, pull up on a helicopter, workout for 24 hours straight and the trail marathon they did the other day. these guys are crazy. the mrbeast of fitness truly.
Easy in a sense that all the challenges are not technical at all. I mean everyone can do farmer's carry right? It's not like u have to do a triple back flip or something.

Honestly just seems similar to morning PT while I was in the 82nd. It might be a bit harder, but I'm willing to bet that most airborne could compete in this.
I actually enjoyed that as a build up to the storyline. Cheered you on an all inside. Watched til the end to see if you did accomplish the goal despite all the cramping and previous injury challenges and penalties. Was smiling at the end great job guys it was an entertaining fitness finish!
Wow, completing such an intense fitness race with minimal prep is insane! The teamwork, determination, and overcoming penalties were super inspiring huge respect for pushing through! 💪🔥 #Goals
Minimal prep? These guys workout every day. They are fit. Yes, they can do a lot better by actually skiing and rowing properly, but it’s not like they would have given up because they aren’t fit enough.
@@LlamasAreBest Fair point! They’re definitely fit, and that foundation is what got them through. I meant more in terms of specific prep for skiing and rowing techniques, which could’ve made a big difference. Still, their grit and teamwork were super impressive to watch!

@@bjarnebaasch that for sure, but I don’t think rowing should be your main focus for what to try and improve for a fast hyrox. 1km is a very short distance and you can’t shave off a whole lot of time on that. It would likely take them a while to lower that time by a minute
@@RandomXxX13 that takes away alot of power you can apply. Main focus should be jumping away as hard as possible, and little power from back and arms. It all depends a bit on what kind of distance you are rowing though, but always try prioritizing leg power

I have another challenge my team does, we do 10 lunges, 10 push ups, 10 sit ups. 10 hip thrusts, and 400 metre runs, and then repeat. You try to do as many reps in 15 minutes, my best is 8
If it comes to that - do a race in two teams - Arjen vs Stan, and add to both teams someone who is not that much fitness experienced, maybe two guys or girls who just finished 90 days challange

I personally try and use more upper body on the rowing than is usually a good idea. Just gives the legs a bit more of a rest.
