Cap: Just like you said.

Curious how Steve calls everyone by their last names and by Age of Ultron by their first name, there you can see how these people became his family.
They were the only people he could trust after he woke up. He didn't trust governments or organizations but he could always trust his family which is why it hurt him to find out Tony and Bruce made Ultron without telling anyone and it hurt when Tony was on another side in Civil War
Not Natasha though, he still calls her Romanoff. Remember when Nick Fury meets everyone at Clint's home, Nick says some swear word, Natasha says, "Steve doesn't like that kind of language", and Steve said, "You know what "Romanoff"?".
@@lovleen Don't get me wrong, I respect what you wrote but I don't think that after The Winter Soldier, Cap remained someone who would get hurt because someone breaks his trust. He had realised that nobody can be completely trusted anymore, and Tony had just amplified that realisation in Age of Ultron. There, it felt like he was more angry than hurt, like he was reacting more on hindsight than on shock. By the time of Civil War, more than getting hurt, I think he was more adamant to believe that what he thinks was the right thing to do, and wanted others to join in too, and when some of them said No, he understood that. If he would've been hurt, he would've created a scene, and Cap is not that kind of a person, is he?
He was fresh out of the military at this time and I know that everyone in the military goes by last names no matter how close you are with the people serving with you, so the longer he was out he probably got more comfortable with a first name basis

Hearing Captain America saying "Avengers Assemble" has to be the highlight of this scene for me.
One of the greatest films ever.
"The avengers, that's great, what is that?"
LMAO i knew this comment would be here
The best about this is Captain shielding Widow with his vibranium shield, Clint hiding behind a car, Tony flying away from the explosion and then there's Thor casually putting up his forearm as if a gently breeze was hitting his face
Throughout the entire movie, Tony wanted to see what the hulk looked like in person. Now I understand why Tony felt so excited when he said “Tell him to suit up”.
From 1:02 when the music kicks in - such an iconic moment! 🥲
I was just listening to the "Assemble" theme and I had to come and just look at the actual scene. That triumphant piece of music laid over the team assembling for battle makes for one of the greatest moments in a movie in my opinion. Just plain exciting.
Cry every time I see the camera pan around them all for the first time, all together as the avengers with Banner Hulk-ed out.
Because my old man, for his whole life, since the late 50's, loved marvel. I still have almost 10,000 comics he had collected since the late 80's.
See, he died about 3 or 4 months before the movie came out. Of a horrific type of leukemia. He fought, like an avenger I guess, for 2 years. But in the end there wasn't anything else could be done.
One of the last things he said before his mind started to go due to lack of oxygenated blood and whatever else that evil disease did to that wonderful brain of his, was "I guess I'll never see the avengers movie now".
He literally waited his entire life for an avengers movie. Sure, he saw iron man, and incredible hulk , thor and cap in their own movies. And he loved them. But to see the avengers assemble was his dream. And to finally see it done well, no matter how shit these movies became within the next couple of years, would have just made his entire life more worthwhile I think. To him at least. His life was entirely worthwhile to me of course. No matter how much we would fight (quite literally, beat the shit out of each other a few times) and argue.
I gotta quit this now.
Gaddamit that ws DEEP! Hits me in the feels man. Makes me emotional since i lost my mother to cancer 8yrs ago. You have my deepest sympathies
@@leonardobraynen1524 Thank you.
It would have hit me more I think if it had been a truly great FF movie. Because they were always his original favourites.
He had the most horrific childhood you can imagine. His parents were abusive and they lived in pretty squalid conditions. They couldn't watch tv when their dad was home because he would beat them if he could hear it even a tiny bit. The only person who got it worse than him was his older sister, who from the age of around 11, was raped at least once or twice a week. An act that fucked her up so much, that she found positive emotions in it. Like it was a positive interaction with her dad, when all the other interactions with him were negative, leading to beatings and what-not.
So, in all this horror, my old man found the Fantastic Four. A hero family. A loving family. A bonded family. And most of all, a family who stuck together, would never allow each other to come to harm, and were proud of themselves and each other.
Boy he fell into that universe.
Great, now I'm crying. I miss that guy so much.
Thanks for your response, and for reading far enough through my drivel to get to this thank you part :)
@@w0bbl3r and your dad is NEVER gone- long as you live and you watch these films u honor his memory. Shang Chi made me very sad about my mom but its cool
GOD THAT PART ALWAYS PSYCHES ME UP!!!!

Wait, the three original avengers that died are standing next to each other ? 1:25
Ouch I just now noticed that. It hurts my soul parts
Captain America died? I thought it was only Black Widow and Stark.
@@tailsfan11westandwithukrainehe died from old age
It's January 2023 meaning this film is 11 years old this year and I still cannot get enough of this moment. There are no words to describe how I felt in the cinema when I first saw it!
The people at Marvel must have simply looked at each other ans said...we've done it!
Thank you so much for it all!!!
This gave me literally goosebumps. Seeing these legends assemble together. And the epic movies till Endgame.
But now it just isn't the same. The new movies and series don't come close to the OG Legends
Imagine a scene like this in Avengers 4 - Cap, Stark, Natasha, Clint, Thor, Hulk, Rocket, Nebula, Rhodey, and Scott, Oh and Carol Danvers - Captain Marvel
An0nymous nah really just Thor, Cap, Iron Man, natasha, Hawkeye, and Hulk, the Og’s thats all. Would be nice.
Okaax no , with everyone
tommy towse No, since its the last movie where thor, iron man, and cap are in, i would like to see all the og’s one last time instead of spidey, cap marvel and the bunch next to them.
Diewott1 if you could read, you wouldnt say that lol, i never said he was alive you idiot
It would be fantastic to have one exactly like this with the ogs, then the camera shifts revealing the rest coming together to join them
Goosebumps and tears every time. Alan Silvestri nailed it with the music here.
It's been 10 years since this. 🔥🔥🔥
This is a historic cinematic moment
Every time I watch this scene, I cry. So glad they included it in Endgame.
