Darum geht's in der Serie:
Eigentlich soll die Geburt ihres Sohnes und Thronfolgers das Glück für Sisi und Franz perfekt machen. Stattdessen ist jener freudige Moment der Anstoß für Machtkämpfe in Europa und der Beginn für zahlreiche private Herausforderungen des Paares. Otto von Bismarck droht damit, Österreich in einen neuen Krieg zu treiben. Sisi versucht mit aller Kraft, für ihren Mann und ihr Volk da zu sein. Zwar liebt sie Franz von Herzen und stellt ihr diplomatisches Fingerspitzengefühl immer wieder unter Beweis, aber persönliches Glück scheint der Kaiserin nicht vergönnt. Sisis Leben bleibt das eines Vogels im goldenen Käfig. Als sie in politischer Mission nach Ungarn reisen muss, trifft sie auf die ungezähmten Weiten der Puszta, das einfache Leben der Menschen und auf einen Mann, mit dem man Pferde stehlen kann: Graf Andrássy. Hin und hergerissen zwischen ihrem Ehemann und dem Rebellenführer steht Sisi irgendwann vor einer schweren Entscheidung…

Ich liebe diese Serie 🥰 Neben den Sissi Filmen mit Romy Schneider ist das meine Lieblings-Verfilmung!
I love so much the evolution of the relationship between Sisi and Franz 🥰❤️, but also that between Sisi and Countess Esterházy, and having seen more ‘girl power’ between Sisi, Nene and Ludovica. I really hope that if you do a third season it can end even more happily for Sisi and Franz 🙏🏼 and that Marie can forgive them for the death of their mother and build a relationship of affection and trust with them. Can someone pls explain to me why Sisi was staying in the countryside and how she felt sick ? I watched season two with no subtitles, so I tried my best to understand what was going on 😂
Because she had to go to Hungary to deal with the Hungarians to offer them an autonomous parliament in exchange for the consensus so that Franz can continue to represent Hungary abroad both politically and militarily.
