- This year in my New Year message I had the privilege of visiting a Care Home, Bradbury Grange in Whitstable where I met residents and carers. Caring’s not easy, and care homes are struggling. Caring goes to the heart of what it means to be human. It’s hard, but it can also be the most life-giving thing we ever do. It comes back to that essential lesson: that we need each other.

My 22 year old granddaughter is a carer in a Herne Bay dementia care home, she loves her job but is over worked and under paid. She doesn’t want to leave but is becoming badly stressed and burnt out due to the pressure.
I’m so pleased to see the Archbishop focus solely on social care in his New Year message, so poignant, and so relevant. Thankyou Archbishop Justin.

How on earth or in heaven for that matter can a church have a policy off exclusion for anyone, the archbishop should personally conduct the the first official same sex marriage in the church put the church back on the right path ,and the only pastoral care he should offer the right wing bigots is humility. God loves all his children and blesses all of them ,christ died for that

Of course it right in God's eyes to marry same sex couples,.how can the church have so little understanding of the teaching of christ .
He craves more and more publicity as his congregations dwindle to a trickle.
How bizarre that he wants power and air time whilst he doesn't see how to fix his outdated church.
.. The blessing of gay relationships is a political move to try to keep the Anglican Church and Catholic Church relevant in the West where congregation size and income are dwindling. The Anglican Church as well as the Catholic Church has growing congregations in Latin America and African (GAFCON for Church of England, for example). The seats of the Anglican and Catholic Church in Europe are scared that they will lose control to Latin America and Africa. Thus, to bolster up relevance of the Anglican and Catholic church in Europe and USA, these churches have compromised and become woke and has embraced the LGBTQ+ agenda to bolster congregation numbers in Europe and USA. The whole matter is political and an issue of control and domination of the West over Latin America and Africa.
