This is actually perfect timing! I'm playing Vera with a friend who plays Gran, and we're both pretty much learning how to fight each other. This will be a perfect video to analyze some of the stuff they can do before we can get back to fighting each other again.
As another vira player (lower rank, I have S). Seeing this only make me sadder. Vira has no tools to really use outside of combos. Her moves don't lead up to any type of mix (on block) and as shown in the video she really is just have better fundamentals than your opponent type of character. Dodge what must be dodged and use your swords range to get stray hits in that may lead into combos. The only thing you have to use your meter on is a reversal with your transformation. Afterwards while transformed you gain some things but nothing oppressive.
Feels like that the hard knock down setups are lacking sometimes being inconsistent along with 66L like your running into a Dp or Super. I found myself trying figure out how to crack my opponent open on every interaction.
