Great vid. Thank you for the info,. The thing I need is a hole saw to make a hole for coax cable with the plug still attached. Thank you! A spade bit would probably destroy the soffit. TYFP!

They will look great, and they are good for 2 storey heights so you will be fine! We have done lots in a 2 foot wide soffit.

I appreciate your concern but this is low voltage so we do not have to have a license to do this here. However its a great point that no contractor but a licensed electrician is allowed to do standard 110 volt or higher on a persons home. That why when we need light fixtures changed or wiring work done we always call an electrician.

Did you drill the whole with the drill in reverse? So the sheet metal doesn't rip?

Hello, what kind of hole saw did you use? I am afraid of tearing the soffit instead of cutting through it as nicely as you did

Hey do you guys think these smaller recessed lights would look bad in a 24" eve? Also, my garage walls are 10' high, do these send out enough light to be effective from that high?

The hole is already 2 inch how can I make it 4 inch. Because there is no suppose to hold the saw bit. Any advise will be appreciated.

Red or green tin snips will likley be the best way to make hole bigger

Grab your new 4" holesaw and screw it to the arbor, then take the 2" holesaw you originally used and place it inside the 4" holesaw and screw it to the arbor. Now your 2" is the guide.

Actually, your not entirely correct on this. If you use a 120v to 12 v transformer... its considered a 120v system. Not sure where you are or what your local rules are, but in California that would be illegal to run wires from a 120v fed transformer inside the walls of a house without a license or working under a license with a certification.

That is not he case here. Same as landscapers can do low voltage lighting with out an electrician here. Thanks

If they're 12V, no electrical contractors license is needed, nor do you need to be a licensed electrician.

just don’t understand yet why one would trust using electronic devices for outdoor applications and when i look at the hardware stores that’s most of what i see on the shelves not to mention the jaw dropping prices at the end you won’t pay for electric expertise but the cost of the lights will make up for the money saved. keep your receipts customers

This product line is quality. I have talked to owner of Delphi tech regularly and theres no compromise in the building of these lights. Cheap lights are junk.
