They are so talented and make it look effortless. I don’t think you’ve done their mashup of These Boots Are Made For Walking, Satisfaction, Everybody Needs Somebody. Worth a look.
That grit in Gorran's voice is *chefs kiss* but you should take a listen to his solo track "Two Pence Shy". Its a real bucolic english dreamy folk number. Very nice indeed.
Gorran was known as around Brighton as "the Bob Dylan" guy because he covered a lot of Dylan as a solo busker. There is a really good interview with Gorran on the "Brighton Beach Busking BBB" channel.
This, along with the Wade in the Water medley, is probably my favourite Big Push busking performance. They all get their moment in the spotlight and it is a cracking cover. As you say Walter, every Big Push performance is laced with the unbridled joy you can see they are having and it radiates through to those in attendance and those now lucky enough to be able to watch the videos. I always end up with a big smile on my face - they are the ultimate feel good ban - along with being so super talented. Edited to add : Just look at the joy on Ren and Romain's faces at the point Walter stops the video to talk about Gorran's deep love and appreciation of the music ! Wowsers.

Would LOVE to hear you react to their song “Precious”. It’s sooo good. And honestly sounds like it should’ve been a top radio hit and is definitely one of those tracks that every fan sings outloud to in an arena when it’s time for the band to bring it down a little. For some reason it gives me a bit of an Oasis vibe. There’s an animated video for the song, but there’s also a live version of the that someone recorded of them playing their last show at the Brighton Dome, and that’s really awesome too.
So many Big Push songs still to review Walter - Dignity, Swan Song, What Kind of Woman is This - everyone a banger. Swan Song in particular you will see a completely difference side to them all - highly recommend.
I was walking in the Soho London last weekend and was stunned to see a giant screen advert saying SamTomkins! I literally stopped in the coronation crowd to try to catch more of it and verify i did not just hallucinate! 😂❤
Lavender ice-cream sounds like a body lotion fragrance or a yankee candle. I love the way all the BP guys take the lead at times and don't out compete each other. Such a super band. ❤
