The Bible is very clear that God does speak in visions and dreams. Read Acts 2:17. It is paramount that we read our Bible and pray daily. God gave us His Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth (John 16;13). Not everyone speaking for God is hearing from God. We must test everything that we hear, and everything that we hear must align 100% with the Word of God. (1 Thess 5:19-22). Johnny Chang is a baby Christian and the word warns us to not allow novices to have a platform. (1 Timothy 3:6). The problem with the internet is you have a lot of people speaking and not enough people in prayer behind closed doors praying to truly hear from God. You want a Word from God. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have an email, so if anyone has his contact information, I’d appreciate it. I believe he thinks the Word of God is primarily spread through preaching, as he was introduced to the Gospel by a pastor. However, many people, myself included, have not had the Gospel preached to us in that way. Instead, we’ve encountered Jesus through visions, dreams, or prophecy. I deeply appreciate his teachings, but on this particular point, I think he needs to reconsider, as it unintentionally discounts so many valid experiences. Ive seen the Kingdom of Heaven and Angels praising God the most high and i have been in the presence of God and told me he adores me and showed me part of Heaven' i know this vision was from God.

Scripture used may not be relevant as in Jeremiah 29, God was warning his ppl to not take heed of the false prophets who wanted to fool his ppl into thinking their situation was not going to take long to change and He sent Jeremiah to tell them what they did not want to hear but was true, that it will take 70 years exactly before they see relief from God. There are many instances of dreams and visions that were from God in both old and new testaments, e g. Peter's vision while on the roof. What I notice is God sent these dreams and visions to quicken his person or ppl to take certain action there and then.

Dreams and visions are from God but not all of them. How many other religions started with a dream/vision? It's important to read the word and know God for yourself so that you can discern whether a dream/vision comes from God, our own spirits, or the enemy.
I believe I have been attacked by Satan in my dreams 2 nights in a row. I have been building my relationship with Jesus and Satan really hates it. The dreams have been like the movie inception, many dreams in one. The first dream ended in my house where I saw a small shadow being go into my kitchen and when I went towards it a great fear came over me and I began to say the Lord’s Prayer but I felt like I was choking and then I woke up. The next night I had another series of super vivid dreams where I was evangelizing and the crowd was being super aggressive and mocking me. Then I saw a small naked man resembling a baby with a tail and a woman grabbed him and began kissing his feet while she embraced him. I then looked away and said what an abomination and woke up. I feel like it was Satan trying to scare me to not share Jesus’ teachings but he only made me stronger because I know Jesus has my back.

The interpretation of dreams belong to God (Genesis 40:8). Journal your dreams, and spend time in the presence of God. I would recommend creating an atmosphere of worship in your home. Worship God for at least 1 hour at a time (Matthew 26:40). God inhabits the praises of his people (Psalm 22:3). There is exceptional grace in the 3am-6am time frame. After worship, meditate on God/scripture in silence and expect a response. Do this regularly for an accumulated affect.

God gave us His Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth (John 16;13). Not everyone speaking for God is hearing from God. We must test everything that we hear, and everything that we hear must align 100% with the Word of God. (1 Thess 5:19-22). Johnny Chang is a baby Christian and the word warns us to not allow novices to have a platform. (1 Timothy 3:6). The problem with the internet is you have a lot of people speaking and not enough people in prayer behind closed doors praying to truly hear from God. You want a Word from God. READ YOUR BIBLE AND PRAY FAITHFULLY AND CONSISTENTLY AND I PROMISE YOU, YOU WILL HEAR FROM GOD FOR YOURSELF.

Absolutely! That is the one area where I believe he is mistaken, especially considering the many experiences people have had, including my own. I’ve written a full letter supporting dreams, visions, and prophecy through scripture, and I’d love to share it with Johnny. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have an email, so if anyone has his contact information, I’d appreciate it.
I believe he thinks the Word of God is primarily spread through preaching, as he was introduced to the Gospel by a pastor. However, many people, myself included, have not had the Gospel preached to us in that way. Instead, we’ve encountered Jesus through visions, dreams, or prophecy.
I deeply appreciate his teachings, but on this particular point, I think he needs to reconsider, as it unintentionally discounts so many valid experiences. That said, I also understand his perspective-he’s doing meaningful work for those who don’t have such experiences, offering them something that feels tangible and affirming. that they don’t have to have visions or dreams can get to know God through scripture. ❤

Ive seen the Kingdom of Heaven and Angels praising God the most high and i have been in the presence of God and told me he adores me and showed me part of Heaven' i know this vision was from God.
I pray every night before bed that God guards my mind while I'm in my dream state.. I pray that all dreams visions and warnings are only from Him.. now the enemy will try to make you forget what you dreamed.. I believe that.. but even if it is a nightmare.. it's still a warning to discern what you watch.. It threw me too when I saw that clip. Because Johnny Chang is insightful and God is using him for good. But that statement about dreams and visions not being from God in this day and age shocked me as well. God is far greater than we realize, his authority and power as Humans we keep equating him to human nature. We cannot we cannot fathom or imagine the greatness or his power. We know he created the universe but still don't believe it in a sense, because our minds cannot think larger or stretch farther than our imaginations as our imagination is limited.

discernment comes from the sharp word of God, the more you read and get familiar with the way He speaks, the more seasoned you are. i can tell many of you have not studied the Word and are distracted by christian media. pick up a kjv and start reading through God's perspective not yours.

I agree with most of your comments brothers and sisters but I think the answer was directed to the specific question that was asked. Scripture used may not be relevant as in Jeremiah 29, God was warning his ppl to not take heed of the false prophets who wanted to fool his ppl into thinking their situation was not going to take long to change and He sent Jeremiah to tell them what they did not want to hear but was true, that it will take 70 years exactly before they see relief from God. There are many instances of dreams and visions that were from God in both old and new testaments, e g. Peter's vision while on the roof. What I notice is God sent these dreams and visions to quicken his person or ppl to take certain action there and then.

Dreams and visions are from God but not all of them. How many other religions started with a dream/vision? It's important to read the word and know God for yourself so that you can discern whether a dream/vision comes from God, our own spirits, or the enemy.

I believe I have been attacked by Satan in my dreams 2 nights in a row. I have been building my relationship with Jesus and Satan really hates it. The dreams have been like the movie inception, many dreams in one. The first dream ended in my house where I saw a small shadow being go into my kitchen and when I went towards it a great fear came over me and I began to say the Lord’s Prayer but I felt like I was choking and then I woke up. The next night I had another series of super vivid dreams where I was evangelizing and the crowd was being super aggressive and mocking me. Then I saw a small naked man resembling a baby with a tail and a woman grabbed him and began kissing his feet while she embraced him. I then looked away and said what an abomination and woke up.
I feel like it was Satan trying to scare me to not share Jesus’ teachings but he only made me stronger because I know Jesus has my back.
That is a vision from God not from the devil
@ It very well could be, I just don’t want to say for sure because the Devil is a liar and try’s fooling us. It’s even possible that the devil attacked me in my dreams and God was also present guiding me. So many mysteries we don’t understand.

The interpretation of dreams belong to God (Genesis 40:8). Journal your dreams, and spend time in the presence of God. I would recommend creating an atmosphere of worship in your home. Worship God for at least 1 hour at a time (Matthew 26:40). God inhabits the praises of his people (Psalm 22:3). There is exceptional grace in the 3am-6am time frame. After worship, meditate on God/scripture in silence and expect a response. Do this regularly for an accumulated affect.

I do mention in my reaction, is there more context but seeing his explanation on live he’s firm on his position. If we have clear scripture that shows God speaks to us through dreams, does this mean according to Johnny that it was Satan saying to Joseph to flea from Israel? I’m someone who followed Johnny and was in the discord but this is something I don’t agree with and his position on speaking tongues.
