Great info. God bless you. I think studying over there would be better if you are married and your spouse is supportive. D spouse xan work full time to support financially
Salaam alaikum Faridah, nice video, learnt new things, am planning for my masters 2 years placement, I just decided to choose the placement course, thanks for mentioning it ... Welldone dear, you really tried but worth it.. Btw, am from Ibadan too, my mom's surname is Adeyemo too from Itabale Olugbode Ibadan.
@Faridah Adeyemo That's the problem, I don't have anyone to support me, so you are trying to tell me that I won't be able to pay my 2nd year fee while working and studying?
It didn't need much convincing as most universities in the UK have this option. Also, if I recollect correctly, I paid the deposit in August/September, there wasn't enough time to meet all of the visa requirements. A deferred entry was the best option...
@@faridahtheexplorer Thanks alot for the swift response. I know I won't be able to meet up with the September 2022 (MSc Data Analytics) start date due to financial reasons. I will pay for the tuition deposit, and apply to defer. Hoping it will work.
@@pramaffairs4331 Data analytics is a great course! The words are that you will never be out of a job🤝🏾. Wishing you the best for whenever you do start.
I’m applying to UEL also but my parents can only fund my first year Do you think it’s possible to struggle it out to pay for the 2 other years? Cos I’ve been thinking about it for a while now
Hello. That's a tricky one! I would say look out for scholarships at other universities. E.g 50% scholarships, fee reduction or even full scholarship(although scarce). When coming to the UK, it works better when you have a feasible plan for how to pay your fees and other maintenance costs. Speak to family and friends and see what support you may get from them.
Thank you very much. You said the issue is that you didn't applied to the university direct so you have to pay for the application fee. Can i apply to the university direct as a Nigerian based in italy
Many universities allow direct applications. Some don't and you would have to apply through UCAS. Check the universities website and go to the programme/course homepage to check the acceptable method of applying.
This was really insightful thank you, I would just like to know something, you said you got accepted but then only started the following year?! Can you clarify that a bit more? I am thinking of apply to Birmingham city university but I wanted to take a year off, work for 6 month were i live then the other 6 months move to the uk hopefully find a job and settle before I start my studies. But I need to know if that’s possible. Like a applying a year in advance for the visa.
I deferred my start date, but did not have a visa yet. I haven’t read anywhere in the UKVI student visa guidelines that one can defer a visa. Best to seek guidance from your future uni
Hi Faridah, I've started my application into a bachelor's degree program into uel already but I have some few questions regrading the process. I have messaged the school countless of times already but I haven't gotten a reply in weeks. So, I was hoping I could get it touch with you to put me through the process since you've done it before. I would love to have your email so I can contact you for further discussion. Thank you.
Great advise dear, and very informative. May God bless, you sister. And I think you have made the right choice.
Glad it was helpful!

I hope I can pay the 2nd year of my fees for undergraduate while working and studying, and also working full-time while on holiday
Paying the full amount alone would be quite a difficult task. You would still need financial some support from your friends and family.

Hey there,

Nice what is the initial deposit payment
It was £4000 in 2017/2018
You sure talk really fast.
If you could speak a little slower, please. I'm sure it's improve your content.
I tend to speak quite fast which isn't great. I'll try to be more conscious of the speed in my subsequent videos that haven't already been recorded ❤❤
And get straight to the point
