This top 5 is such a tease... some these items are impossible to obtain, the rest are only theoretically possible as in they might be on the loot table but unless you get a raiding party, you arent gonna have a chance in hell of getting these schematics, and actually makeing them is just as if not more difficult. Like, the only way I see someone obtaining something even as basic as mageweave cloth bolt is from the gurubashi arena chest, amd that's to say nothing of star rubies and the like...
Exactly, by 25 people usually have 5-10 gold if theyre saving up, so whatever you charge for the recipe either nobody will buy OR the gold won't matter much in the next phase cuz gold gain ramps up 30-40, so eh. Ofc people will go the route of charging ludicrous amounts (100-200g?) so we won't see anybody with the goggles around unless they got the recipe themselves. Just my guess
It's part of the fun for some. There are a lot of unsolved things ahead so nobody can really min-max very thoroughly until 60. People have been min maxing since almost the beginning of WOW.

So basically... dont go engineering phase 1.
Eng is great phase 1 for the goggles alone. Basically the only good head slot item until you drop one from BFD (which can take a while)
As a rogue, I rate Stone Form more useful than any of these. Lots of bleeds, poisons and diseases going out in this earlier phase.

Yes, they start at +15 but also the max skill is 15 higher so capped at 240 for P1 at lvl 25
