Television shows during the 1970s and 1980s which were about to hit syndication went under alternate titles. For instance, "Emergency!" was known as "Emergency! One". Likely, this was a station promotion thing.
Russ Minshew , oh Lord I was a kid but remember that scandal. I feel bad for him in a way because he could be openly gay today and things may not have turned out the way they did.
Can you upload the opening credits to Season 5 of Austin City Limits from PBS in 1980? Recorded from a Betamax tape, it has The Southwest Texas Public Broadcasting Council logo, and the funding credits: Public Television Stations and Lone Star Brewing Company.👍

I was 4 months old when this aired so I don't remember these commercials or newspeople.
And this was before the channel swap in July of 1980.
On Labor Day,1980 they made the switch channel 2 became ABC and 11 alive became NBC.
