It doesn't sound like their flight has anything to do with manipulating gravity, just overcoming it by manipulating the electromagnetic field. Don't confuse the two, very different forces.

Didn't Siegel and Schuster say that one of the reason's for Superman's strength was that Krypton's gravity is greater than that of Earth's. That factor was not changed in the comics. Krypton still has greater gravity than Earth.
I meant that because Superman's people are from a higher gravity world, then even without the Yellow Sunlight they'd still be stronger due to the resultant bone structure.
Still his race has adapted to the higher gravity environment so even if Superman did not spend that much time on his home planet. His physiology would still make him stronger than a Terran Human.
Superman is by far the greatest superhero of ALL time. I loved all of his sequels. My favorite was him going up against the three Kryptonian villains in Superman 2 and him against Nuclear Man. I do think he was foolish for sacrificing his powers for Lois Lane.

If depleting his energy or staying out of sunlight depletes Superman's powers and invulnerability, then he could deplete his energy and then shave with a normal razor blade. OR, he cloud craft a razor blade from Kryptonite (or from an amalgam that contains a small amount of Kryptonite), and shave with that. It could be just the right amount to make him vulnerable without harming him, or he could shave super fast before he became too weakened to continue.
as you have established Its clear that Supermans powers are not limited to his body but are a conscious projection from him that alter the inertia and momentum and perhaps other properties of an object for which he is interacting, as evidenced by simple things like the lack of high ground pressure when exerting 20 quintillion tons of force, or lifting a building , (at all), by it's corner, or a jet by its nose as you mentioned . even the collective movement of sand and dirt particles near his feat when he preparing to take flight, as seen in recent cinema adaptations reflect a much more dynamic interaction with his surroundings. Their is actually a field of (wildly !), speculative physics that perhaps could explain Kryptonian super powers better than anything I've come across. and far better than absorbed solar energy as that present a host of other problems. his cross sectional area is simply not large enough for him to absorb that quantity, and his albedo proves he isn't absorbing any more light than say........ me femto-matter, also known as AB matter. essentially, stable femto and pico sized structures made entirely of nuclear matter. I've read many papers describing the assumed properties femto-matter and it's clear that its a superior McGuffin. More precisely femtomatter macromolecules imbedded in , and chemically active in the mundane sense, with DNA. Suppose that Krypton is a planet with heavy femtomatter pollution from a preceding hyper-tech species, ( perhaps just passing through), in its early development. The femtomatter gets slowly incorporated into the chemistry of life over a typical evolutionary time span. The Kryptonian species evolves, (biochemically), in a parallel fashion to humans of earth. the macromolecules act chemically as a typical element for life processes and the biology is none the wiser. this explains the genetic compatibility with humans as well as the genetic transmissibility of some baseline powers, but would naturally reduce the output power capacity of the offspring. So, Super junior is necessarily weaker than dear old dad. we could think of yeller sunlight as the necessary Mcguffin threshold energy and frequency distribution that allow the conscious coupling for the release of the stored energy with the femo-structures, within his cells. Switching energy for a COP
For how much you talked about it, you didn't focus on just HOW he is able to get so much energy from sunlight. The only explanation I can really come up with is that he doesn't just absorb solar radiation. It's possible that Superman can somehow use cold fusion, in every one of his cells to power himself. If this is true, then it highlights Superman's truly alien biology...
As long as he has energy, and a means to manipulate that energy, Superman can pretty much do anything. Considering how people will get instantly sunburned if left out in the vacuum of space, it makes sense that Superman would acquire far more energy outside Earth's atmosphere. Curious as to why, on occasions, he can dive into the Sun and not be harmed, but get hit by a nuke and look like a cursed undead. Perhaps there's something nukes have that aren't present inside stars or supernovae. Neutron radiation, I'm guessing.
How Kent shaves? It could be that his dead tissues/follicles have been completely drained of solar radiation, essentially reducing them to nearly-human-level vulnerability. (Stronger molecular and cellular bonds reducing physical wear and tear generally protects the hair on his head) If this is correct, superman can simply laser them off with a mirror, assuming he does it carefully. Note: he has actually done this in an animated series, when he meets Mister Mxyzptlk, who interrupts Clark while shaving.
Thank you Superman😎 for bringing ALOT of good heros likes Shazam and Wonder Woman! If you didnt exist, WW, Shazam and even heros from Marvel would not exist. Again, thank you Superman for starting all of this!
Shaving was explained in the 90's superman comic reboot. He used a piece of his space ship he came to earth in and reflected his heat vision off it to shave his face while having a shaver going to make it sound like he was shaving to lois in the next room.
+Raymond Mach Do you he think Zack S. is saving those powers or he just don't know? Super breath, he hasn't really been superman impressive like the past movies with Reeves.
Bio-electric aura explanation is also often given as the actual reason why he can have super strength to begin with. That is, without it, he couldn't even lift any heavier things. It's telekinetic. Makes more sense than being able to just do it due to enhanced muscles or enhanced density of muscles, since he'd be so dense with that kind of strength that he would either sink through the earth, passing through the core, or collapse into a damn black hole!
+R3D1 Gaming I must disagree. The glass of a mirror is made using heat. So, the heat that it would take to shave would be to intense for a mirror to reflect and would actually burn thru the mirror. I think he borrows whatever Wonder Woman is using on her legs. :)
I just realized that Superman and Doctor Who are sorta alike. PLEASE somebody make fan fiction/fan art crossover or hybrid of Superman/ Doctor Who. It would be awesome and explain some of his changes of personality (also explaining costume design), add more reasons he lives longer, and other power changes. Most would change through regeneration when he gets killed or wounded badly. Krypton could be Gallifrey like. Zod could be a cross of Time Lord and Dalek backstory. Oh and the Fortress of Solitude could be like the inside of the Tardis!
RedShirtGuy96 duh because he gets an extra boost from the solar radiation that he consumes and stores. Think "John Carter" for how strong he'd be even without the sun!!!!
Dude answered his own question and mine. If Superman is solar powered and he can be drained to become vulnerable, it would make sense that he could shave like a regular person during this time period. I mean even in the context of "The Man of Steel" The oil rig incident probably drained him enough, considering he had not even really learned to harness his power yet......But that would suck having to wait until you were spent just to be able to shave. LOL Now if only we can get the Mall Rats ordeal dealt with. especially since in the rebirth he is a father. How the Hell does a HUMAN carry a half Kryptonian child and the kid not end up being like an Alien chest burster if she gets in the sun at all?
Good vi, but you missed out on the most well known real world explanation of supes powers. His strength and speed don't come from his magic solar bank, but come from krypton having a stronger gravitational pull than earths. This means that kryptonians are roughly 460 times stronger than an average human, even without the yellow sun.
+Turbo Nerdo This is the best theory gravity is the key he can fly whit the graviton elementary particle. In physics, the graviton is a hypothetical elementary particle that mediates the force of gravitation in the framework of quantum field theory.
+Turbo Nerdo That would explain him being able to lift about 46,000 lbs or about 23 tons over his head (assuming 100 lb average for humans). But I've heard descriptions in the quintilian ton range.
+Paul Schober That's exactly why he is able to do feats in that range because of solar energy rather than gravitational differences in each planet. Also superman didn't grow up on krypton so he wouldn't be conditioned that way anyway.
Superman is millions to quintillions of times stronger than the average human, and when he ejects his solar radiation he becomes human strength, film theory didnt do enough research
I kind of remember when I was a kid that Superman's powers had been under debate, but a letter that accepted the existence of those powers shut up said debatees for some time. The writer was none other than Albert Einstein. Now, was that anecdote true, or is it nothing more than an urban legend?
heat vision. that's how he shaves. by reflecting his heat vision off a piece of his rocket, he can cut his hair and beard to super closeness. John Byrne gave us that gem in 1985's Man of Steel.
Does DCEU Superman have Telepathy I’m asking this question cuz in Justice League Superman was Controlling Cyborg but then Cyborg said it’s his armors defense system and he can’t control it
Superman will always be my fav hero. No matter how many versions of him they make. Even the injustice lords superman. I mean a superman is still superman, albeit a more irrational and emotional version of superman.
: I recall in one story line, Superman is able to see the entire electromagnetic spectrum. Through focus and concentration he is able to ignore what he doesn't need to see and when needed, focus on something like a radio transmission to locate the bad guy.
+Shadow Gaming lol and cats cant bring hot dead chicks back too life, so catwoman should of never existed by your real world logic. its fucking make-believe lmao.

Super flare ? ? ? Isnt it called solar flare ?
Its called Super flare.
That's goku
It's called solar lottery just took this in science
+CLGS seth_rex1 Thats real-life XD.
+batboyshark ha true
Heat vision plus a glass will do a clean shave !
Good vi, but you missed out on the most well known real world explanation of supes powers. His strength and speed don't come from his magic solar bank, but come from krypton having a stronger gravitational pull than earths. This means that kryptonians are roughly 460 times stronger than an average human, even without the yellow sun.
+Turbo Nerdo This is the best
theory gravity is the key he can fly whit the graviton elementary particle.
In physics, the graviton is a hypothetical elementary particle that mediates the force of gravitation in the framework of quantum field theory.
+Turbo Nerdo
That would explain him being able to lift about 46,000 lbs or about 23 tons over his head (assuming 100 lb average for humans). But I've heard descriptions in the quintilian ton range.
+Paul Schober That's exactly why he is able to do feats in that range because of solar energy rather than gravitational differences in each planet. Also superman didn't grow up on krypton so he wouldn't be conditioned that way anyway.
Film theory is wrong dude
Superman is millions to quintillions of times stronger than the average human, and when he ejects his solar radiation he becomes human strength, film theory didnt do enough research
I kind of remember when I was a kid that Superman's powers had been under debate, but a letter that accepted the existence of those powers shut up said debatees for some time. The writer was none other than Albert Einstein.
Now, was that anecdote true, or is it nothing more than an urban legend?
"Documentary"
+Andrew Walker (awalk) You keep using that word, I do not think it means what you think it means :D
That moment when you watch part of a film theory video in a screen rant video
1 problem: our sun isn't yellow... it's white...
+Unknown common misconception yet widely accepted. you know something like how people accept Donald Trump
We call white suns yellow suns in astrophysics.
That explains his heat vision being originally being a bright white light
Batman said it best in Justice League.
"What if you was stronger than a planet"?
Superman is stronger than [Earth] alone.
I CAN EXPLAIN HOW, EVERY OF HIS SUPER POWERS THROUGH SCIENCE... TRY ME...
Explain me everything
How strong is he and how much invulnerable and laser eyes?
@@SD-en1qg Heat vision you mean. They’re not lasers. Though how they affect the surroundings is much the same way powerful laser beams would.
Great video. Some people just hate on this because they can smh
+Random List Videos
They certainly can "So Much Hate", and this displeases me.
If I were Superman, I'd be such an anti-hero.
+Tom F Park If I was Superman, I'd probably be hated by authorities but loved by the people. ^^
+LKVideos pretty much what happen in BvS
Then you wouldn't be Superman
They would have to pay me 100k's of dollars for me to save people tf.
Love your videos best UA-camr ever!!!!!
Every documentary you do is a copy of the film theorists.😐
Agreed
No it isn't!
I agree to
This one actually isn't this time I promise
I thought I was the only one to notice that
The Bio-electric Aura is what fuels ALL kryptonian abilities.
Magicians break that aura with their powers as they work on the same aura it's why he can be beaten by any magician even ones who aren't super powered
I hate that tactile telekinesis thing.
heat vision. that's how he shaves. by reflecting his heat vision off a piece of his rocket, he can cut his hair and beard to super closeness. John Byrne gave us that gem in 1985's Man of Steel.
You guys steal so much from Film Theory. Thats illegal btw
+TaurusGaming oh ....there can be only one scientist in the world the rest are fake
What has been stolen? care to give a example?
please explain how this is stealing?
+batboyshark they watch film theory and copy them but dumb it down
+iron rifle please explain something that has been stolen.
thank you someone finally said it
SO he is a fucking plant?
Thats what I thought too. I was like "You're telling me he is a fucking plant?"
+HunterTheGreat hah nice one
Finally a video that gets his powers, including even his invulnerability, strength and flight, right!!!!
He shaves his beard with a kryptonite razor
+hadouken C or kryptonian material, like from his ship.
He shaves his beard with his heat vision
superman "dies" in batman v superman
+Alberto Valenzuela But the dirt! It moved! lol blew their load too quickly.
Yeah thats why he "DIED"
+Alberto Valenzuela any idea when justice league is releasing?
+Marcus Black ???
summer next year
Does DCEU Superman have Telepathy I’m asking this question cuz in Justice League Superman was Controlling Cyborg but then Cyborg said it’s his armors defense system and he can’t control it
Would love to know that too.
To answer their question on how Superman shaves the beard, he uses his heat vision and a mirror.
But I want to know how he's able to shoot midget versions of himself out of his hands!
Why wasn't that one in Man of Steel?
SUPERMAN >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ALL
*Super Thumbs Up, Thanks!*
Superman will always be my fav hero. No matter how many versions of him they make. Even the injustice lords superman. I mean a superman is still superman, albeit a more irrational and emotional version of superman.
: I recall in one story line, Superman is able to see the entire electromagnetic spectrum. Through focus and concentration he is able to ignore what he doesn't need to see and when needed, focus on something like a radio transmission to locate the bad guy.
he seems to ignore that thing unless he is using super hearing
This is why Superman is awesome!
I would not be surprised if all those videos were not sponsored by the movie BatmanVSuperman
Brandon Allen | What Negative reviews?
Dude the movie has a 29 percent on Rotten Tomatoes! Check it now!
Brandon Allen | cool dude!
This was posted as an article on the Screenrant site last week. They pretty much just read that into a microphone haha
cool stuff, can you start working on these powers?
Regarding that final joke, I remember an episode of the 90s animated series showed him using his heat vision bounced off of a mirror to shave.
+Shadow Gaming lol and cats cant bring hot dead chicks back too life, so catwoman should of never existed by your real world logic. its fucking make-believe lmao.
It was shown in one of the Superman cartoons that he shaves via heat vision into a mirror. It' no longer a matter of question.
Doomsday was using the Solar Flare in BvS ;)
Yeah!!!
Superman can control basically can generate Laser and X Ray Radiation from his eyes and Gravity (he can literally bend the Space/Time around him which makes him fly amd prevent objects he grasp from desintegrating on contact.)
