I honestly think that Sarah can do no wrong when designing a space or room. Her eye for design, detail and decor makes her my absolute favourite designer and I would love for her to do her magic in my home 😅.
I don't like narrow rooms like this floorplan or contemporary, modern and chrome furniture. But the result is the best, I think, for this project. The dining area I don't like as it's so far away from the kitchen. The dining area and living room area should be switched. That's a must.
OH another fantastic and timeless design (!). Great work (& patience!) from Sarah & the Design Inc. team. Classic! Thanks again, Abode! These episodes are wonderful!
Things I love: The Brancusi bird-shaped lighting fixture; the two seating areas defined by two identical carpets differently oriented; the overall use of space. I don't think one could have done better given the shape of the room.
It looks nice and the client got what they wanted. . But very impractical. Dining room on one side so your dragging everything across the house. Bench seating means everyone has to move for you to get out. Barn doors limit the size of the tv. I'm sure they moved things around after living with it after a few years
I love the lesson in this video. I often “deferred” to others and then found myself in the way. Learning to say, I’ll consider all your ideas was difficult. Usually, experience & professions of those whom you are paying, using have it right! 😅 I need your expertise in my little house!
It looks great, but having the dining area so far from the kitchen is... inconvenient. I mean, you have to carry all the food and plates and everything through the whole house. Twice for each meal.
Not a brilliant idea to hire a designer then buy a giant sectional. Why even hire someone else if you want to design your own? The client screwed this one up. Hire Sarah + don't sabotage.
This color scheme doesn't read BEST in video. Plus, Sarah was stuck w their dining table + now a new sofa. Those are major pieces, and, the client doesn't necessarily have the best taste. Right? This client is a "Winter", in her physically most flattering colors. Sarah is not. Clients should look best in their own home. (True jewel tones + very icy tints).
Probably my least favorite decorating project. I'm not a fan of modern furniture, tired of everything going neutral colors, especially in a narrow floor plan. This no fault of Design Inc. The customer should get what she wants.

Never saw this one during Design Inc’s regular showing, thanks Abode.
Gorgeous space. Sarah and her team are geniuses. Love this show!
How everything came out so "matching" as like they designed all the future by themselves!!! Hands down to Sara and her team

Miss Sarah on in the states. I always wanted to meet her. I’ll never get to Canada now, but hope she comes to USA on some tour one day.

This still works today because the bare bones of the room of the are timeless.
Really, really beautiful!😃 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Very nice! I must have missed this episode.

What an interesting contact method: notes.
Beautiful, wish they could do over my house.

Beautiful. I love the overall feel of the room. Individual components seemed clunky. But in the end, the colors were welcoming.
Well done lovely 😊
How does it work having the dinning room further away from the kitchen?
You carry it there
I hate how they show the finished room at the start, it ruins the surprise at the end.
At least they show the process of how the result came to be.
Let Sarah do her thing ! Clients that think they know everything….. DON’T !

You give a lot of information All right, I'll refer to your UA-cam information. Let me know a lot of information from now on. I'll cheer for you.
I don't like those dining chairs Sarah picked in the beginning.
I don’t like it but I think it looks great 👍🏽

WOW !
I will need help in a year
One of my least favorite rooms.
This is the least "Sarah".

May I ask. All that series was made when? In 80’s, 90’s or 2000’s? The quality of recording look like this is VHS
Shows that Sarah’s designs really are timeless
2004/2005.
@@brandoniswhoiam thx you

Marble wood and aluminum tables? too much going on if you ask me. And no clutter? there are six or eight little things on the dining table.
Not a look for me. Not child friendly. Yuck.
Not impressed 😕
