    I am a Ghanaian with a Jamaican / Ghanaian son. I’ve always love Jamaicans way before I moved to the USA and this summer am taking another Jamaican friend of mine back to Ghana 🇬🇭 🇯🇲🖤✊🏿

    Kola nut is bissy in jamaica ...bitter but good for your health (boost metabolism, aid digestion, reduce fatigue) and antidote for poison. Good to have in your household.

    Kola nuts is called bissy in Jamaica..its sold as herbal tea in the supermarkets... Caribbean teas have them in teabags in the supermarkets.

    Guys!! This is just FANTASTIC! I am thoroughly enjoying 'our'😜 trip😄 Fascinated by the lady on bike with baby strapped to her back, and by the Chief-visit. Loved to see those young people demolishing the track barefooted; that's straight-up Jamaican countryside (minus the track). Really enjoying ... Thanks so much Alyshia and Asafa!🤗🤗

    Asafa and Alysha, next time you visit, if you guys can arrange a trip to Kumasi to visit the Asantehene, Otumfour Osei Tutu II at his Manhyia Palace, that would be awesome and colourful. The King sits on the golden stool as a representative of the strength and wealth of the Ashanti people & kingdom. The Ashanti’s have the same colours as the nation of Jamaica. The King is currently in London or preparing to be for the coronation of King Charles.

    Cola nut is what they use for Coca Cola. This is the way our northern brothers welcome their visitors. They say he who gives cola nut gives life. The Akans will welcome you with water, the northers will welcome you with cola nut.

    Cola nut is very good even though it's got a bitter taste. It keeps you awake. alert and very good for men indeed. For me when I chew cola nut I drink iced water or a cold juice like coca cola. It neutralizes the bitter taste in the mouth after chewing.
