I remember finding this once on my little brother’s open tab, and just from a few seconds introduced to this song, it has stuck with me ever since. I’m really taken aback. There’s something very peculiar about this song. Like, every other song that tries to cash in on another popular property’s success is either dubstep or taking itself way too seriously but no! This entire song really oozes it’s own personality and because of that, it makes this something to be remembered. I absolutely LOVVVEEE how the vocals aren’t afraid to get silly and let out a guttural, nasally, or bouncy delivery. It’s probably this song’s biggest strength. Instead of your everyday perfect singer, we have this song sung with plenties of quirks that don’t take themselves so goddamn seriously making this *much* more interesting to listen to. I actually wish I can listen to them completely isolated because I am hearing just SO MUCH fun being done in the background with them. The mixing too. It’s done JUST right so I don’t miss anything, even if it is faint, you can hear it is there. The melody is childish where I can picture just skipping along to the beat. It is of course based off a game presenting itself as something for children which is thematically appropriate and that’s what really sells this song. The Living Tombstone also made a song for this game... But it wasn’t an instrumental, or hell, even a SINGER at all fitting for the context. It started out as such at the very beginning but falls flat in no time so it can’t help but be just about every single one of their other songs based off something spOoOky... But I’ll level with ya, this song does get close to reaching that generic dubstep aspect, hence the high pitched sting at 2:32. In fact that part overall is dangerously close to falling into becoming “another song” but saves itself just at “walls are getting bloody” with the irreverence in the music returning but still maintaining the scarier element with it remaining slowed down with a now present hopeless feeling of it all. I’d go on about how well the animation pairs with the whole thing. It probably was one of the most difficult parts of this project to produce. It’s very well done (And you can kinda see the energy to animate sliding away as the video progresses. Lmao) but I don’t want this one single UA-cam comment to be like a GRAND review or anything. This is a dang near perfect, absolutely remarkable song. Okay, I FINALLY GOT THIS ALL OUT.
why did i just learn about the remastered today?!? lmao but OMG i cant tell you how great this song is!!! i see that somebody else said how great the song is but oh my gosh it is soooo amazing!! this song is soo different from the rest of the baldi songs. i love how it has a fun and golly start but as we progress through the song it gets more unhinged and scary. i also how after the second chorus there is that little part where we are stuck in a locker and how the music kept me interested. 2:11 that part i love too! i have never heard a song that changes there song like that! and with the animation, super well done!! 1:08 is an interesting part to me. The mixing was also brilliant. i love how you added the little baldi sound effects with this. overall, this is an absolute great song and i cannot wait for more songs in the future!
