I am surprised to hear that you have legibility problem with this watch.... I have 5 Hamilton watches and I find this one the most legible?
I have to question whether you really own this watch. I've owned 5-6 Hamilton watches and this has to be the least legible of the ones I've owned. Don't get me wrong, I still like and own the 38 Murph, but legibility is not its strength.

Love the watch but the strap is terrible. Sits hit and uncomfortable.
