i just discovered Killing joke about three years ago, i knew their song "80s" from back in the day. But, up until recently found out that they are an excellent band, this goes to show how controlled radio was in the 80s and 90s. it wasn't until the internet and youtube appeard that i got to know how extraodinary band they are, can't wait to buy my tickets for their next show here in Los Angeles.
@chainsawmax : Damn yeah. Paul Raven was genius as is the band. Lovin ministry too. But these guys did this years before ministry and even rammstein is comparable lyrically ? :-) Killing joke....... made all the good ones!
@uberalles2 I'm with you. The music is good, and I actually respect Coleman. He is at least eloquent in his opinions.(even though I strongly disagree with his politics)
I always liked them, but it took me years to catch up about what the message was. I'm just slow on the catch up. I just hope that I am one of the last to understand, but I doubt it.
I know what you mean most vocalists at his age lose the ability to scream due to years and years from doing it, Jaz still got it, even live sounds flawless
THE ABSOLUTE DOGS B****X!! The segment around 45 to 55 seconds when Raven slyly nods his head, Jaz says "So I'll start a war" and Geordie looks like an Aryan God smokin' his cigarette......uber COOL
Jaz Coleman is an underrated rock vocalist. Love how he can so melodic in the post/punk sounding songs but also a mad man in the heavy KJ songs
Geordie is so badass.
Raven and Geordie, absolutely stone cold cool as fuck
Power flows through them.
Geordie Walker. Calm like an army of guitars from hell ...
The way he sings it with passion, it sends shivers down your spine.
Because he means it. Unlike many other bands with their pointless lyrics.

This is MASTERPIECE !!!
Totally, utterly, epic track... From a totally, utterly, epic album...
3:35 - so badass.
It's Gordie who really makes Killing Joke. Nout flash, just a great guitar sound and style.
not really, it's pretty much a 25% split of awesomeness
Added further, the voice of Jaz with the tones of Geordie. THAT is Killing Joke.
Paul Raven, how we miss your thunderous stone-tough basslines...
Every single thing about this is PERFECT! I only wish I had been there to witness this in person...
R.I.P Geordie Walker
RIP Geordie, just now finding out. The beautiful menace in his guitar was unique. What a loss.
I love watching Benny struggle with that Dave Grohl groove. Even more fun to watch EVERYONE struggle with any Big Paul songs. Best drums in music.
Rest in Power Geordie Walker.
I dont who that drummer is but he is damn good
RIP Geordie Walker
You will be missed
This is KILLING JOKE at there best, in the freaking prime

I wouldn't be surprised if this guy was the catalyst in Iceland all those years ago.
THE FUCKING BEST
i want to wear that make up at work in the office:)
The fact that Killing Joke are banned from the radio, shows how fucking awesome they are
i only found out about them a few days ago because i heard asteroid on the radio

Is that Atkins? Fucking heavy as a titanium elephant.
Nope, Dave Grohl was drummer on this album and Ben Calvert playing drums at this concert.
Dammit -- this just proves it our noise is better than your noise. Hell yes KJ!
Superb!

Western aggression called out. Excellent work KJ

Geordie Walker is badass
bush father and bush son dislike it.
@uberalles2 I'm with you. The music is good, and I actually respect Coleman. He is at least eloquent in his opinions.(even though I strongly disagree with his politics)
You wouldn't wanna spill Jaz Cloeman's pint would you?
or hog the spliff
1:46
@deadradioregime I saw them on 2003 tour promoting this album, alas the sound was too loud and distrorted the sound too much for me :(
security
Such an awesome song. Funny, the studio version is really lame, but the live one makes me want to smash all my furniture.
Stronger than fuckin' metal music...RIP Raven !
what's your job ???!!!
deinittely satan

not the singer... the bass player
whut the signer is dead?
No he’s still alive and kicking. Paul Raven, the bass player sadly passed away suddenly from heart failure.
ese wey le copio a damian 666 de la =AAA=
I love the music, but this band's view of America is so ignorant it makes me sick.
Hope you'll wake up some day.
This is fucking sick!! So good it makes me wanna cry!!!!
+Pissedman

@@AdularWTell RIP Raven :(
Totally underrated and forgotten album... its so sad it makes me wanna cry! :(

I always liked them, but it took me years to catch up about what the message was. I'm just slow on the catch up. I just hope that I am one of the last to understand, but I doubt it.
I just get this strange feeling of everything, just...clicking, when I listen to this band. Everything's in place. Connected. Just bloody brilliant.
This band is in my blood. I love them.
exactly my though, KJ is in my DNA.
This guy can sing his ass off. Wow. So much passion and emotion in his voice.
Unless the whole country did it, I guess.
what does the full thing say and what's the context of it? I don't get it
40 YEARS these guys have been putting out sound.
I know what you mean most vocalists at his age lose the ability to scream due to years and years from doing it, Jaz still got it, even live sounds flawless
So want to be in the mosh pit, Killing Joke amazing .
THE ABSOLUTE DOGS B****X!! The segment around 45 to 55 seconds when Raven slyly nods his head, Jaz says "So I'll start a war" and Geordie looks like an Aryan God smokin' his cigarette......uber COOL
ya no habrá nada igual como killing joke :(. Ojala estos registros no se pierdan nunca.
This fucking rips!!! These guys are so kick ass
One of the most intense and just a freaking badass song,my Favorite Killing Joke song
Fucking Epic!
This is music in its most epic form
Such power should come with a health warning , Ben on the skins is superb and Geordie, Raven and Jaz rise to the occasion. Honour that fire.
the singers voice is creepy and psycotic. this part creeps me out the most 0:33-0:50. BUT DUDE THIS BAND ROCKS!!
rest in peace RAVEN KING!!!
God bless you!
sooo fucking badass.
If ever a band could distill the sentiment, the feeling, in all my years it is KJ.
@lebonpost Get the 2003 'Killing Joke' album, it's mint! That's the album this track is from.
@dawarmachine77 thanks for the explanation , i really like what this band have done
