- We're finally here with Clapton's multitrack, overdub-heavy, late-80s hit. Because my strat only has 21 frets, I had to record the solo in F-standard as it's impossible to do those massive bends without 22nd fret. I hope you like it! If you want tabs, email me at: kamil.stachowski@hotmail.com

I don't plan to cover 'Hard Times' as it was recorded on ES-335 that I don't have yet.

Texas Special pickups are actually mounted on this strong persuader's personal favorite guitar and I wouldn't be surprised if you can nail his tone to perfection.
Eric performed «Hard Times» using a Strat on Night Music in 1989 and the RAH orchestral sessions in 1990 and 1991.
You can emulate an ES-335 using the neck pickup and a mid boost pedal.

I notice you tune half step up for the solo because your guitar doesn't reach 22 frets. Good work to keep the details of the solo
